You shouldn’t be! You’re going to be fantastic, I know it
❝ all of the girls in the p-program are fantastic! and they didn’t attend a b-boarding school that doesn’t have ballet, they are years ahead of me. ❞
claire-burke:
“Am I? Sorry. I didn’t realize.” Claire immediately felt bad for doing so, both because she was disturbing someone’s life somehow and drawing attention to herself, a negative type of attention. Still, the stranger’s interruption was enough not only for her to move away, but also to see the face of the person who was talking… only that, it wasn’t a stranger.
“Wait, are you Ceri? Ceri Parry?” She couldn’t help but smile after realizing who it was. They weren’t friends, of course, even because Claire was almost ten years older, but she knew who the pureblood was - after all, she usually did know a lot about people.
ceri has absolutely no idea who this woman is. she looks familiar, but a lot of people look familiar when you are a pureblood. it makes her uncomfortable knowing there are people out there who know her name because of that, actually, just people knowing her name. that’s enough to make her feel weird.
❝ um.. yeah. that’s me. ceri. ❞ she says scratching the back of her neck. ❝ d-do you need me for something? ❞

johanna-on-fire:
Some people are saying they have better coffee here, which is bullshit, obviously. I’m just figuring out why people are saying so.
❝ well... ❞
betternott:
“There is this gala I have been invited to and I will get to wear a gorgeous dress. I am very excited.”
❝ oh that sounds really c-cool? ❞ wearing a pretty dress sounds fun, but parties like that are always so long and boring.
Casting Call

“I’ll pass your details along. I won’t get you a job but I can get you a shot.”
❝ i t-think my details are in the papers i g-gave you when this interview started. ❞

He nodded and offered, “Never read it,” annoyed at himself that he hadn’t just left in the first place.
❝ it’s nice. yeah, it’s nice. ❞ maybe she should just go back to reading and he will be quiet. yes, that’s a marvelous plan.
betternott:
“Fine. Do not tell me. Let us talk about me again.”
❝ sounds g-good. start t-talking.❞

freddieornot:
“Huh. Maybe I got the time wrong. I hope I didn’t miss her…” Fred muttered rummaging through his school bag and finding the letter from the interviewer. “It’s tomorrow. Great. Sorry for that.”
❝ it’s okay, d-don’t worry about it.. ❞
cave cafe.
johanna-on-fire:
Enemy territory, Cer. Enemy territory.
❝ oh, an undercover agent. exciting? ❞
cave cafe.
deeper-end-of-dupond:
Now that he was sitting he felt burdened to make conversation. He should have just left. “What are you reading?”
❝ umm... t-the name of the wind. ❞ she replies with a shrug, a little annoyed at his attempt to make conversation.
Casting Call
not-the-sharpe-est-tool:
“It is good to expand your horizons. You never know. It would take work though, and you should be working for something you love doing and you’re good at. You love dancing, Ceri? With your whole being? It takes your whole being to make it. Even when you’re not on a job you have to be devoted and always working if you want to be something. If you love dancing like that, if you’re committed like that, then I might be able to put out some feelers through some contacts and get you a shot at an audition you belong at.”
❝ yeah, you know. um, all of the t-things you said. and.. i would be really, really g-grateful if you could do that. ❞
lycanthro-parry:
Yeah? And how are you feeling about it?
❝ n-nervous, just, very very nervous. ❞
claire-burke:
“Pleeeease! Just let me finish those. I’m hungry.”
❝ it’s j-just... you are standing in the way of the..door. ❞
johanna-on-fire:
How do I know it wasn’t you? Or that you don’t know who did it?
❝ b-because you have met me. ❞
augustuswood:
“So what if this my fourth bowl of cereal today? What are you, my mom? Fuck off. I don’t need your opinion.”
❝ i wasn’t judging you. ❞ actually, she was indeed judging him.
betternott:
“I will. once you tell me what you were talking about.”
❝ i don’t remember what we were t-talking about. ❞
