I fixed you.
do not call me Naomi.
call me Mara,
for the Almighty has dealt bitterly with me.
& when the smoke cleared
I took up HIS place.
was that such a sin?
should I be ashamed?

A tight-lipped smile graced Naomi's lips, hands folded neatly on the shining glass surface of her desk. The room was white, shining chrome -- neat and orderly, just as she liked things to be. Gabriel -- the runaway Archangel, the rogue messenger who disappeared the very moment the going got tough, and his loyalties were tested.
"Gabriel. Please -- sit, make yourself comfortable. I don't believe we've met -- not officially, at least." Her voice was even, smooth as the surface of a plasticine sea. Every twitch of her lip, every narrowing of her eyes and movement of every muscle in her body was practiced, pristine, almost robotic in nature. "I'm afraid this meeting of ours is long overdue. You're a creature of many faces, I must say, and your collection of aliases is -- well, for lack of a better word -- impressive."
There was a pause -- an audible intake of breath as she leaned forward in her plush desk chair, eyes trained calculatingly on him.
"-- which begs the inevitable question -- does the man live up to the myth?"

"What do you want, cockroach?"
Innocent ;; isn’t exactly the right term. I’m just — sorry I couldn’t finish. I left — things undone and ; people, and angels — suffered for it. And ; Im’ sorry.
What happened in Heaven isn't any fault of yours, Sam.
—You don’t make conversation easy do you… I’m sorry; I’m sorry I didn’t close the gates ;;
You've already sacrificed enough for the sake of Heaven. This undertaking -- it isn't worth your life. I'd like nothing more than to see the gates of Hell close forever, but on that same note, you needn't die for my wishes.
I’ve heard — Sam, Sam Winchester.
-- yes, I know.
—Didn’t expect to see you around.
We haven't officially met -- forgive me. I'm Naomi.
I stitched them back together,
patched them over when fabric wore thin.
I thought what I was doing was good --
is that r e a l l y such a sin?
