I hate how hard it is for me to date. I use to love being in relationships, I use to love having a partner I could spoil and love unconditionally, but now? The very thought of getting into a relationship makes me feel physically ill. I’ve been single since May, which this is honestly the longest I’ve gone with being single. At first I was fine with it, I was actually very content. And ig I’m still kinda ok with it, but now I’m also starting to realize that maybe I’m just unlovable. A lot of my close “friends” don’t actually like me. Ik a certain “friend” of mine has said some rlly nasty and untrue things ab me as well. The only reason I chose to stay is bc I don’t wanna end up completely alone. I’ve thought ab maybe doing online dating, but so many ppl on the internet will say “I have a crush on you!” Not even 24 hours into talking. Like, no. You don’t. You don’t even really know who I am, how I act, how I respond to certain environments, and this sort of thing happens irl to. It’s exhausting. I also just hate the idea of being vulnerable. Sure, I don’t mind communicating, I will willingly tell someone to stop something or if something upsets me, but I don’t wanna get into the nitty gritty of my trauma, I don’t wanna admit I’m struggling mentally, I don’t wanna talk about what I think about either. Idk if this post makes any sense, I’m probably js gonna delete at some point today or tmrw, but I kinda just needed to vent to the void or whatever.
