I wanted to this to be the last picture we posted for the end...
If you noticed, it's our icon, the picture you saw next to EVERY X-pressive Arts post. Mainly because I love this picture, but also, it represents who X-Pressive Arts was...XA was it's communitty, those who made it up, it wasn't just me, or any of the best guys, it was anyone who wanted to be about it and was about it. There really was no initiation, no "Oh go kickflip this stair set" no, it was none of the bull shit, it was anyone who needed a family, who wanted to share the beauty and of skating with someone else in the world. Actually, not even just the skating, anyone who wanted to share and discover who they were, with a family they could proudly be a part of. This picture was taken at out home, Palm Middle School, our home, and meeting ground of almost all of us every Sunday, with some of my closest friends. honestly, to me some of the guys in the picture are guys I consider acquaintances to me, and others are my closest buddies, but again XA was it's community. and I'd take a bullet for most of the guys in the krew in a heart beat. Even though, we fought, cried, hated, and sometimes despised one another, at the end of the day we were all still family and grew and became better people because of these experiences. And you can't appreciate the bad times, without the good ones, right? I'm sure we're all gonna miss what we had, and what we've done, but it's awesome we get to end in our prime, with one of the greatest skate videos our area has produced (not to toot our own horn, but we've heard how people felt about it). It sucks, personally, i have to leave all of this behind, and i wish I could take it with me, but again XA is it's communitty, not it's individual riders. Thanks for all the support you gave us, and views and likes you gave to all of our videos, I'll keep the blog up so anyone can look back on it...
So I guess it's the end...so Thanks for everything, and everyone in the krew, I love you guys, and thank you for helping me become the man I am today...
