Just a thought.

It’s been a while since I hesitate to take part of this whole discussion around Split and all the bad reviews that he got.

But I want to clear some points:

First of all, persons with DID shouldn’t feel threatening by this movie and the picture that he create of persons with DID. Because it’s just a movie! It was act that it’s just an unrealistic movie, because of the Beast. Plus, you need to keep in mind the fact that this is the sequel of another movie [Unbreakable], which proves that this is not something realistic, something that people need to take seriously. So that part where all the people think that person with DID are “violent” is just something that they want to believe, even if it’s wrong. But you need to know that not all the people believe it. Personally, I think that you are strong and that you deserves so much better, because of all you been through.

And if people are afraid of you, well they don’t deserves you. Honestly, you don’t need someone who’s afraid of you in your life, you deserves so much better, you deserves someone that will love you no matter what, someone who will accept you the way you are.

So please, stop boycotting this movie. James McAvoy did a great job by portraying all this personalities. Mr. Shyamalan did also a great job by adapting a part of Billy Miligan’s life.

I don’t want to argue about this, it’s just my point of view. So I’m sorry if I’ve hurt someone, it wasn’t my purpose. And I apologize if it’s the fact.

Sincerely, someone who enjoyed Split and admire persons with DID.
