Today I critiqued Olivia and Amanda’s storyboard for their video project. I felt that it would be difficult to meet the time requirements with the current layout that they have. However, their idea for the plot is well constructed.

4/10/15 Journal

While I was preparing for my Capstone, I ran into a few obstacles. At first, it was difficult choosing what I wanted my theme and layout to be on my poster. I also had to decide what information to present. But in the end, I was very pleased with how it all came together.

1/23/15 Journal

Through today's research, I was able to form a pretty good idea of what I want my Public Service Announcement to be like. Since my capstone is centered around figure skating, I want my video to have a somewhat clean-cut style to it. 

Because my topic is figure skating injuries, I would like my video to look like a sports medicine PSA. During my research, I watched a few of those videos so I have a clear image of what my video will look like.

IMED Assignment - Jan. 2015

My favorite project this semester was the pop art assignment. I was able to unleash some of the ideas i had, and really got an opportunity to play around with the Photoshop tools.

My least favorite assignment was probably making my first logo. I was somewhat inexperienced with Photoshop at the time, and it was frustrating to get the look I wanted.

Now that I have acquired more skills with different digital design applications, I know how to apply them in real world situations.

variations of my logo

the logo i like best of these three variations is perhaps the transparent one. it is very simple and clean, and has sort of a modern feel to it. this will most likely be the final logo i use for my capstone project.
