Useless and alone. Just like you always have been. -A
“Ugh -- fuck off.”
dom-anderson:
“Oh, I know. When I was constantly out of town for my boxing, I slept horribly in all those motel beds.”
“I’m just hoping that one day I’ll finally get out of here again and my own bed will be far away from this wretched town.”
dom-anderson:
“Yeah, I can always understand that. Home is always fantastic.”
“There is nothing quite like your own bed.”
dom-anderson:
As he ordered his food, Dominic shifted a bit in the seat. “Well, why didn’t you stay away longer?”
“Kinda.. got boring, I guess. Plus, I missed my apartment.”
Character Aesthetic: Iris, The Ward (2010)
dom-anderson:
“Oh, you are telling me…” Dominic agreed. He had always loved being on the run - so to speak. He never stayed home long and was constantly bouncing cities. It was sort of nice to just stay steady. Although, that one stupid fight still haunted him.
Xanthe looked around, wondering if they were going to get served any time soon but at that moment a waitress popped up. She ordered her burger and then sighed, sitting back in the chair. “I feel like I should have stayed away longer on my christmas trip.” She commented. She just hated this town now.

dom-anderson:
Dominic folded his arms up against the table and leaned forward a touch. He knew he wouldn’t much from her and she wouldn’t expect much from him. It made them good friends. He threw his shoulders up in a touch of a shrug. “Tis about the same. Aside from well, mine is the gym. I can’t not move. It would make me crazy…”
“Well, that’s good, I guess.” Xanthe liked the gym, she was there as often as she could bother but sometimes she was too lazy. “Nothing wrong with not having much more going on either.” Especially in a town like Baberton.
paul-davies:
Paul grinned lightly as he looked at her. “That was definitely my fault, I am a sucky boyfriend, better best friend.” He looked up at her shaking his head. “You are lucky Josie isn’t here, she would kill you.”
She rolled her eyes again. Xanthe shrugged, making a face. “Not if I killed her first.” She commented, pulling her phone out. “How long do I have to sit here?”
paul-davies:
Paul smiled as he looked at her. “Please, we both know I’m the total package you would be lucky to get me. I’m handsome, smart, humble, kind and great in bed.” He laughed as he nudged her. “Sounds good to me, I am closing up soon, you want to wait for me?”
Xanthe pushed him back, rolling her eyes. “Yeah, well, you already fucked that up yourself buddy.” She moved to hop up onto the counter. “Sure.” She nodded. “I’ll wait.”
paul-davies:
“Sure, if you ever need to talk or someone to drink with I’m your man.” Paul looked at Xanthe, he was worried about her but he knew that she needed space. “I’m awesome, I get to see pretty girls all day, and the prettiest actually just walked in.”
Xanthe crinkled her nose at him, shaking her head. “Yeah, yeah. Flattery will get you nowhere.” At least it got her to crack a smile. “Expect me to take you up on that drink offer.”
paul-davies:
Paul smiled lightly as he looked at her. “Because you know it’s the truth.” He grinned as he nodded his head. “I can do that for you, how are you doing?” He asked curious about her because he wasn’t seen her since last month.
Xanthe shrugged, turning and inspecting a flower. “I’m great. You?”
