Hey sorry if you get this question a lot- How do you make the HQ gifs of LoL like the poro and minion ones you posted recently? (You're doing those yourself, right?) Is it a certain program, or?

Actually no I don't get many questions so you can have a comprehensive answer.

The poro GIF was made by taking the elements from the promotional website and compositing them in Photoshop's Video Timeline. The poro itself was a WebM video so had to be transcoded to HuffYUV for Photoshop to open it.

The minions were a scene I created in Maya using the nParticle Instancer (Replacement) feature with the resulting animation saved as an image sequence. I only used Photoshop to convert the image sequence's colour space from linear to sRGB, add the loop and save as a GIF.

I used the same GIF settings in both instances.

Colour Reduction: Selective Colours: 256 Dither: Diffusion (100%)

If you still see any posterization with max diffusion switch your dither algorithm to pattern instead.

Hi yes, any advice for someone going into Ranked from normal queues with almost no draft pick experience?

There isn't much strategy going on in your average solo queue draft pick game, most players will just be trying to pick their favourite champion. If you are captain this chart will give you an insight into the most popular bans currently.

The best bit of advice I can give you is don't play ranked until you are flexible enough to play a handful of champions in each role. You'll just end up being a burden to your team and butting heads with other players because you both insist on playing the same role.
