“I’m exhausted from school and thankful for this week break, so I’m going to let the subject of the couch not being in the right spot or that the coffee table is an inch off from it’s regular setting spot until tomorrow and you’re going to come cuddle with me in the bedroom,” she said with a smile on her face, knowing that he was clearly just trying to clean the apartment for her to come home to a non-messy place, but if she wasn’t distracted instantly, she could feel her OCD just raising by the moment. // @xevanxclark

“How could I argue with that? Cleaning can wait I’d definitely prefer cuddling.” Although Evan knew most of the intricacies of Summer’s preferences while she was away he would easily revert to old habits. Most days he had the apartment cleaned by the time she came home but today he had overslept since it was his first day off in two weeks.

Evan locked their door and proceeded to head to the bedroom, stripping his shirt off on the way. “An entire week off. Better spend that time wisely. You deserve plenty of rest and relaxation.” He kissed Summer’s forehead and wrapped his arms around her.

“It was just a few chapters on how drugs and alcohol affects the human body – especially when consumed in the womb, so it was pretty interesting to read and caused me to get through it pretty fast!” She said with a small smile before settling down beside the male on their couch, taking in a deep breath. Although part of her missed their old apartment in LA, she couldn’t help but feel much more mature living away from home with her boyfriend. “Sounds good to me, I’m sure I have some laying around here, otherwise I can text one of my old dorm mates. Did you want pizza or Chinese?”

“Interesting. I know some of the affects but probably nowhere near all of them." Evan remembered a health class discussing it. He was always interested in that gritter part of humanity that came with addiction because of his dad's drinking problem. When Summer sat down Evan stretched out and laid his head on her lap. He missed night's like this. Before he moved they were always rushing through their time together trying to fit everything into one visit. "I only need a little. Haven't done it since I moved so my tolerance isn't so high. Chinese. I got so burnt out on pizza in Cali. I had it way too much."

“I managed to finally catch up on all the reading that I needed to do, shocking enough with all the shit I was given. What did you want to do? I’m all yours tonight!”

"Wow. I'm impressed, it would have taken me double the time to read that much. Learn anything interesting?" School kept Summer busy but Evan had been occupying his days unpacking and searching for work. He was adjusting to New York faster than he had expected. "I'd honestly love to stay in, get high, and have a delicious dinner. Want to order out?"
