soooo guess what guys. tomorrow is finals for me. not only that, but i also have a summer college class starting at the exact same time which means i’m PROBABLY not gonna be able to come on/will be too tired to do so. please be patient with replies to starters and threads alike! i will do them as soon as i am able to. until then, if anyone else is going through the same thing as i, i wish them luck with their finals!

the blonde's words are sighed through partially split lips, chapped with dehydration and wrung of any and all water that could remain; that could be formed from her glands into saliva to swallow down her throat in an attempt to keep a tight hold on her consciousness-- g o d why did it have to be so hot? her body was collapsing atop itself with agonizing torture. her legs ached, wobbled like the jelly tarts her mother used to make for dessert, and her shoulders threatened to tear at the seams if she didn't set her heavy bag down for even just a moment.

in the distance, she caught the sight of another traveler. her eyes gleamed with the promise of rest, and with the last of her strength, she made a mad dash for the figure in particular, sweat flinging from her body with each thundering stomp, waving her hand and requesting for them to cease. when she had finally caught up with the stranger, serena heaved and wiped her brow. what made her think that sight-seeing abroad would be a good idea?

oh right. shauna mentioned traveling to different regions, seeing the sights. it stirred serena into action, pulled her in the direction of adventure and promise that perhaps she would learn something new. all she had learned thus far was to never travel without a water bottle in tow. johto seemed a good place to start--boy was she more wrong than ever.

" w-wait! excuse me--could you perhaps direct me to the nearest pokemon center? i'm a little lost. “

im workin on the rest of the starters i p r o m i s e but i gotta head to bed in about an hour and im just watching funny videos so they will probably come tomorrow.

in the face of a champion, a n y o n e would be more than terrified, perhaps even awed; serena, however, being a champion herself, felt little barrier between she and the other blonde other than their age gap--and even then, serena had relationship with many other people who were significantly older than she. & it was not to say the pokemon in question was "cute" in the least; serena found everything adorable in one way or another, and this pokemon was no exception.

she had only come here for a simple banquet of champions which, as it sounded, invited the strongest trainers from every region in a gathering of sorts; a feast of which serena was mostly excited to meet pokemon and people from regions across the ocean. perhaps, in a sense, she felt chained to kalos--though leaving was never an option. who would stay behind to keep her friends company, after all?

the feast had already begun, but serena had yet to relax and enjoy herself; she was a slow eater, and had left her plate almost completely full of food she hadn't tried [ or had the opportunity to ] in the kalos region. she was ready to feast, but the attention of this champion's pokemon had caught her entirely.
