During the interview, Matthew McConaughey talked about how he usually felt "sacred" about his characters in the past,which led him to refrain from other roles.But when it comes to Buster Moon,he finds it scalable and interested in the higher stakes that can come with any movie.He shared an interest in repeating the role to complete the trilogy, and you may end the trilogy with Buster Moon actually on stage himself.Wouldn't that be poetic?

With the first Sing film releasing in 2016, the sequel was not announced until a year later in 2017, meaning, Sing 3 could be announced next year in 2023.
Following the franchise’s previous pattern, this would put Sing 3’s approximate release year as 2026 – fans will, of course, be hoping for a shorter wait

With revenues of a whopping 634 million US dollars and a budget of almost 75 million US dollars,“Sing” was a real hit at the box office in 2016.It will be much more difficult to continue during the corona pandemic.The start had to be postponed several times, in the USA the film ran at the end of 2021, in Germany we can see "Sing 2"from January 20, 2022 in the cinema.
