Nostalgia
Have you ever looked back at how much you’ve grown like really grown? I have recently and I can tell you that I miss being a kid just thinking about it lol. I thought back to when I first got a Super Nintendo and Super Mario Bros. I remember how excited I was not only getting a gaming system aside from my dad’s IBM laptop he used to let me use, but also at the fact that I could play a game I was hearing about from a few of my friends at the time. I had so much fun playing it I didn’t want to sleep and when it was time to eat, I didn’t want to leave it to eat I wanted to eat and play it at the same time. Even though I wasn’t allowed to do so. I also remember the day I got the very first PlayStation and how excited I was to have it even though by the time I got it nobody could call it the hottest new system but I was still happy as can be to have one and play it that I didn’t realize at the time that I needed a memory card to save any of my game progress so when I shut it off I had already lost everything I worked so hard to achieve the day before but that didn’t discourage me at all. Soon after I found out that information, I asked for my parents to buy me a memory card and they did but I didn’t use it until I knew every inch of the game I got with the console which was Crash Bandicoot the original game and I beat it before I was even able to use the memory card and then again with said memory card. The point of this blog is to make you nostalgic over whatever you desire and reminisce about simpler times.
