“Yes, and my number is bigger than yours so I win,” Callie recalled in a faux serious tone. She glanced over at her brother as she started up the car. “Not that soon,” she protested, though it was certainly something coming up. “Plus, I mean, Micah and I have been together so long, he’s basically already a part of the family. Not that much is changing,” she insisted, though it was strange to think that she and her siblings were all in such different places in their lives now.
"I’m taller doesn’t that count for anything?” Another half-joke slid from Grant’s lips, as he buckled his seat belt before leaning back. A small smile still sat between both of his cheeks with his eyes glancing at the scenery passing in the drive. Grant knew sooner or later everything would be different between all of them. Most of his siblings were in some sort of relationship and then there was him. Not that he was jealous or anything, it was just different. “ Micah is a good guy Callie, I’m really happy for both of you.” He paused briefly. “ But you can’t honestly think everything going to remain exactly how it is when you get married. You guys kind of will have a life of your own now.”
