Since my X account is suspended, I have a question...
Is Threads a good alternative for X/Twitter?
Yes
No
This is the second time that this has happened on my stan account and I've already submitted an appeal🤦🏻♀️
I've been trying to regulate my likes and posts and they still see it as spam or "inauthentic behavior"🤦🏻♀️ I've tried not to just Like MX's concert tour fancams and hyping up the English album drop but I still get flagged 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Ear seeding
I'm gonna apologize in advance because this is TMI, I'm sorry.
Sooo... I'm still figuring out if ear seeding has a placebo effect on me or not 🤔😅
I've been reading old (like early 2000s old) fluffy or heartwarming mangas lately that do not have too many volumes.
The one I've recently finished was "To Be Next to You" and it almost made me cry (like the teardrop almost dropped) and I've cried while reading a manga before. Among the ones I've read before "To Be Next to You", there was one about mental health, "That's My Atypical Girl". I chose it because it seemed like a lighthearted manga because of the synopsis but my biggest mistake was that I didn't read the trigger warnings. So while reading it, I might have shed a tear or two and gained more insight about my personal mental health and how to deal with myself.
So now back to the one I recently finished, like just finished last night and still reeling.
"To Be Next to You" by Atsuko Namba, based on the synopsis, I thought it would be about childhood friends to lovers; it was going in that direction but it didn't and that was such a good twist in the story. I was about to switch lanes but as the story progressed, it really was the right choice for the story, even though I feel bad for Kyo-chan. Now I'm off to watch whichever they have available, anime or live-action. 🫡

Incoming book review...
Today is September 14th and I finished "How We Fall Apart" by Katie Zhao yesterday.
When I checked the reviews on Goodreads, the majority of the ones I thoroughly went through were mostly rated 2-3 stars; not inherently bad reviews but I was wondering why those reviews were like that.
As I was reading the book, it wasn't that bad because it has such a nice flow and very well interwoven sequences. It got you thinking and being curious. I was once an Asian teenager and once an honor student so I have felt some of the emotions Nancy was going through, minus the heavy parts. How Akil, Krystal and Alexander's secrets were revealed were very strong and had you gripping your seat then when Nancy's was revealed, it felt flat. This was about 60% of the book and this was how I found out why the reviews were mixed ones. Then with the part of when the Proctor was revealed, it was so anti-climactic that it made me go "That's it?" as I was reading it on. It was such a letdown because all those that happened in the book were very well-written but this part felt rushed.
And now the ending... The ending of the book had so much potential to be a wonderfully open-ended one but it wasn't it for me. I feel like the author wanted to start the book with a secret and end it with one. Not a bad ending but it was a bit like fade to black TV drama ending.
