dexterous hands that in these moments appear inept, clumsily wreathe dark tresses into a haphazard braid. the laughter that befalls if dulcet, lacks derision, has aureate irises flickering to his assailant. those flaxen brows drawn to perplexed summits, hope lost to the tangled mess that was rei's hair.   ❛  it's  fine  max.  ❜  reassurance, to him, is an intrinsic thing, it's unadulterated, fostered within concern for others. effortlessly do rei's fingers liberated the tousled hair, sweeping through it now with ease.
