I must confess the NSFW ban didn’t kill my interest in tumblr so much as its implementation. There are always other places to share NSFW things, and I’ve become so much more interested in doing SFW work since I got into WoW rp. I’d still draw something NSFW, but most of the time it’d be as a request or commission. So many things became harder to access by being marked sensitive and it’s annoying. And so many things got marked as NSFW that isn’t. And the community really died down. Fun loving, the type who loves to wrestle, rough-house, and roll around through the flowers. Good drinking and brawling buddy to have, especially at the bar. Smooth, shiney, beautiful dome Ray of sunshine orc Cons: Conscripted to the Horde indefinitely. It’s likely she’s going to be a soldier for the rest of her life. Winterfall Waltz!

Save the date!

Winter Veil will soon be upon us, and the <Agents of Suramar> want to show celebrate the holiday alongside their friends and allies! We want to use this opportunity to not only have fun, but to also show our tremendous gratitude to all of you for your support and kindness to us! On December 14, 2018 at 6:00 PM (Server) the Winterfall Waltz will be begin, and we cordially invite all members of the Horde and neutral factions to join us for a night filled with revelry, merriment, and entertainment! Beneath a blanket of twinkling stars at the Terrace of the Makers is where the magic will begin, and the frigid air of Northrend will be filled with laughter as we dance the night away!

Costume Contest!

The dress code is formal wear, so be sure to don your loveliest gown, robes, or tuxedo for the occasion! The theme is simple, “Winter Veil”, and you can interpret it any way you like. Whether you choose an ice queen, a decorated tree, or Father Winter himself as your inspiration is up to you! Two people who manage to wow the judges will be dubbed our winners, and each will receive a sketch of their character in their formal wear drawn by our guild artist, the amazing BoilingHeart​!

Halfway through the evening, some of Azeroth’s finest performers from the spectcaular Eversong Ensemble and Tirisfal Theater Troupe will grace the stage and dazzle us with their talents! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the shows!

Headcanon

Orcs and Trolls share pieces of each other’s culture. When the Darkspear joined the Horde they were introduced to orcish drums which are lighter and much easier for travel compared to their larger ritual drums placed in villages and shrines. Eventually these orcish drums are introduced to the Zandalari and in return the trolls introduce the Orcs with fancier gold or gemmed ring tusks from Zandalar. If you look around Zuldazar you can find smaller orcish drums now being used in lighthearted environments like Inns, saving their large Zandalari drums for events and rituals. And the Orcs are looking as regal as ever.

In relation to that last post

Not all of my experiences with lesbian characters are bad, but this is just like one of those examples of why I shy away (especially if the character is a ‘futa’). To be honest there’s probably a little series I could make of things like this that you get from playing a girl character. 18:42:50 [Character] whistles at you. 18:43:09 You peer at [Character] searchingly. 18:43:28 [Character] whistles at you. 18:43:49 [Character] whispers: Harass all the Pandas. I am not sure. The person in this post is someone who hangs around trade chat and other channels, making all sorts of off-color and at times bigoted comments. But they also seem to PM and whisper anyone who is on a female pandaren that they happen by. The person you dealt with who is known as Thel apparently has a long history of accosting gay men in Orgrimmar on MG and WRA and starting fights with them in /say and /yell.  I’ve not seen Thel constrain themselves to trade chat and custom channels only, and I’ve not seen this person in my original post accost gay men and start fights with them. Likewise I’ve not seen Thel try to seek out female pandaren to act flirty and creepy with them. They may be one in the same but I would avoid either regardless.

3: Has there ever been a moment when you were uncomfortable roleplaying something?

I’m always uncomfortable when trolls throw around the words tame and claim, even worse when a collar is presented almost out of the blue with no build up. On New Years one year Kie had to burn about four collars that were presented to her by trolls she barely cared about. I used to think it was cute to have her mate gift her a nice collar and she does enjoy wearing pretty golden ones but now I see it as something thats ruined due to almost complete strangers. If you plan ships with me or talk to me ooc you’d know my character hates being told shes going to be “claimed or tamed” Its something I see a lot and Its a good way to never have any romance with my character ever.

I’ve heard of nose rings being a thing between trolls and Zandalari have tusk rings. I would have to agree that springing a collar on someone out of the blue is kind of creepy (and really should only be a thing for someone who is into kink and expressed interest in collars).  I figure some of it is the stereotype of how trolls are a tribal race and I wouldn’t be surprised if that plays into the reason why some troll rpers would use ‘taming’ and ‘claiming’ for a potential mate.

3: Has there ever been a moment when you were uncomfortable roleplaying something?

Yes, the only one that really sticks out is a rp I did with Kie, It was 5 am and I couldn’t sleep so I went to Orgrimmar. This weird mysterious troll took Kie to the Barrens and hypnotized her, which I agreed to but what I didn’t like is her being ordered to kill an orc, which she did anyway.. After he emoted an orc child running out of the hut crying and him absorbing the dead orcs essence I just zoned back into reality and asked myself why I’m doing this, Kie got nothing out of it so it was both sad and stale on my end. I politely told him I’m not feeling the rp and logged out. For some reason I cried after that lol.

4: What is your advice to new/upcoming roleplayers?

Don’t let rp become something too serious. Don’t be afraid to be a little obnoxious sometimes, as long as your obnoxious with class. When I first came WrA my girl was a drunk tavern rat who was always pranking her friends and running around. It was the most fun I ever had in game, but seeing people say my character was annoying or dumb I stopped. I became self conscious, people will be rude but don’t let them shape you. Also never try to make being popular a goal in rp, don’t think having art or a pretty trp makes you a good rper, and don’t use it as a coping mechanism, because sometimes people ruin the carefree fantasy life for you. Always have something else to go to.

7: What skills have you developed (other than writing) that helps in enhancing your roleplay experience?

Warcraft art is what got me back into drawing, especially digital art. It was really frustrating at first but I learned how to draw my main troll kind of consistently. Having her facial features and body type burned into my mind really helps me imagine her expressions as well as her body language. It’s still something I’m learning so I hope I can draw all my characters consistently one day.
