does anyone else get really scared at messages from people for no reason- like even if you really like the person

rant uhhh i got a dm from someone im in a server with and to be clear i really love this person/p So sweet, such a good person and makes me feel safe. but i haven't talked in the server in like a week or two? Idk why im just.. eh.. i feel bad for saying it i'm just not getting as much joy out of the conversations as i used to. anyway thats my problem not any of theirs But like they sent me a dm asking if i was okay i could feel my pulse in my neck and i got so nervous idk why... i feel like im in trouble and that happens every time people check on me or ask me about something. i get anxious, anticipate the worst and avoid the message. like if you wanna make me have a nervous breakdown tell me 'i need to tell you something' and ghost me for 3 days (please don't do that 💀) but yeah i always have like a pulse jump when ANYONE dms me i just get so scared even if its my best friends
