Idk why I do this, but I always unintentionally call characters nicknames that just stick with me. Dynasty warriors 8 empires and 9 Empires is no different.

Zhong Hui is Tsundere Bean

Guo Huai is Precious bean or just “bean”

Sima Yi is Psycho Bean

Sun Quan is usually “YOU DUMBASS!” (Mainly cause he always insists on fighting the lightning bears by himself)

Sun Ce is goofball

Sun Ce and Sun Quan as a duo are Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum

I’m pretty sure I have other nicknames for other characters but I can’t recall what they are rn.

I was thinking about my builders in My Time at Sandrock while listening to music, and some music seems to fit how I imagine them.

Time by Hans Zimmer perfectly matches how I imagine Xie WenTian.

If You Fall I Will Carry You by Efisio Cross matches Lu Xi.

Introducing my Sandrock Builder!

Xie WenTian

Once I unlock photo mode, I might take some pictures of him. Also I can never get his lip color to a nice natural look, so I gave up for the moment lol.

Basic info:

23 y/o.

Workshop name: Steel and Petals (working on an idea as to why that is the name he chose.)

Friends: He doesn’t have any friends apart from his boyfriend. However, he is close to being buddies with Pen and is associates with Rian, Rocky, Krystal and Unsuur.

Not much is known about before he became a builder, as he doesn’t talk about it, but he seems to have an unusual amount of experience with combat and meditation.

Xie is quiet and a bit of a loner, preferring to go about his day and do his work with very little interaction with others. When he does interact with others, he is polite in speech, yet to the point. He does harbor an interest in befriending the locals, but due to his nature, that will take time. He got close to Arvio due to constant commissions, regular and favors that Arvio asked for. Kind in heart, Xie is glad to help around if asked and always seems to be interacting with the animals of Sandrock. Generally peaceful, he doesn’t like cutting down the wildlife unless he absolutely needs to, and even then he doesn’t take more than he needs at the moment, giving the population time to recover. He also harbors a deep respect for nature in general.

(Rough outline. I’ll work on him a bit more as time goes on. I’m open to ideas or advice!)

Did you ever noticed that Basch & Noah have different eye colors?

I literally brought up this point to a friend of mine during one of my Final Fantasy 12 rants! He had a hard time telling them apart and even told me numerous times they were the same person, but when I told him to focus on the eyes, then he believed me saying they were twins. 😂 Also been thinking of these two lately, and aksjsjs... Noah 🥺

Well that crossover idea came back. I'm rewriting the dang thing. Wish my brain would leave that idea be.

Ngl, I’m sorely tempted to download the mod that replaces Vaan with Gabranth and Ashe with Vayne but that might confuse the whole story line. However, my dumb creative mind just wants to imagine and write about the chaotic adventures of the Ronsenburg twins. That’d be very chaotic, I’m sure. Haven’t beaten the game yet, but I mod it for the fun of it.

SPEAKING of modding my game, I have a few mods installed already. Mainly recoloring of the party's clothing, and adding chain Mail because come on. Ashe? Fran? Those outfits aren't gonna protect you two. Sheesh! Also, Penelo has pink hair for whatever reason and Reks is in a permanent state of confusion.
