hiii. bimonthly or so remake of my commission post info

usual spiel- i am a multiply disabled bed/housebound nonbinary artist surviving solely on what i make through commissions. i'm barely scraping by most months talking care of myself and my cats (one of which is medically complex and requires an expensive medicated food)

additionally, i'm trying to aid my also disabled girlfriend in moving to my state where she will have easier access to medical services and affordable/wheelchair accessible housing. i've got a short queue i'm working on right now, but i could very much use any additional work this pride month

My favourite 3D file format is wavefront object (.obj) because the associated material file (.mtl) is like a wizard's scroll with tricky spells that can trip you up or make your wildest dreams come true if you know what numbers the riddles call for…

Ka, Ke, Ni, illum… those are wizard words, and you must remember them. I can only remember some of them. I'm never, ever going to remember what Ni is without looking it up because I don't think my program supports it. Ks is the most impish one because blender loves to set it at a value that turns my objects shiny until I go edit the wizard scroll myself. Change 'd' to 0.3 or 0.7 for beautiful diaphanous fairy wings
