#latergram #DayoftheDead called Dia de los Muertos in Spanish, is a #Mexican #holiday that falls on November 1 and 2 of each year. On this day, the boundaries between life and death begin to blur. Men, women and children of all ages honor and celebrate their loved ones who have passed away, participating joyously in a festival that has roots nearly 4000 years old! This was the first year #Xinalani made this beautiful offering to honor those family members who already passed away of all our staff. We are pleased to report that we are safe and sound after hurricane Patricia fell on land further south. All we experienced was rain and wind but no serious damage to our beautiful property. All the good vibes and prayers came through for all of us here in Xinalani and Puerto Vallarta. Minor beach cleanup and we'll bounce back into business as usual. PVR airport will be back open today.
