Tom Welling joins previously announced Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh as Clark/Superman in CW’s Crisis which starts Sunday, December 8.

Per The CW, the crossover will “reveal what happened to Clark Kent almost ten years” after the conclusion of Smallville. “For eight years, Arrow has stood on the shoulders of Smallville,” EP Marc Guggenheim said in a statement. “Simply put, there would be no Arrow, and no Arrowverse, without it. So when we first started talking about ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths,’ our first, second and third priorities were getting Tom to reprise his iconic role as Clark Kent. To say that we’re thrilled would be a Superman-sized understatement.”

It's a good thing Barry has a Kryptonian friend from another Earth who can turn back time come May.

I was thinking about this whole, everybody's mad at Barry over Flashpoint and did some thinking. Forgive the crude drawing, but it explains my point (Doc Brown-style) Flashpoint is not the reason for everything. There have so far been 3 time travels back to Barry's mom's death. there are: 1. The original timeline 2. The timeline Reverse Flash and Future (Barry 2024/Crisis Barry?) go back and RF kills Barry's Mom 3. The timeline where Barry goes back and says goodbye to his mom (this subtle change may have caused changes) 4. The timeline where Barry saves his Mom (Flashpoint) 5. The timeline where Barry lets RF kill his mom, creating our current Prime timeline. And that doesn't count: 6. When Barry traveled back in time to stop Weather Wizard from destroying Central City 7. When Barry traveled back in time to S1 to talk to RF And the Legends have time traveled on at least 23 occasions and they are not very good at staying hidden and not causing collateral damage. Sara Lance (White Canary) also tried to kill Damien Darkh in the past at least once (before he could kill her sister in S4 of Arrow), and when she decided to let him live, bragged about him losing in S4 so he decided to travel through time with RF, which I'm sure will affect the timeline. And that's not counting what else RF has been up to, like trying to blow up New York in the 1945. Everyone should be mad at RF for putting everything into motion. He cause the original time aberration by going back and killing Barry's Mom. Not to mention, Barry was gone for 3 months during Flashpoint from the prime timeline, Cisco's brother dying and Caitlyn having powers could have occurred regardless of Flashpoint. Fin.
