#Talking with a friend I never met  与陌生友人对话

As an international student I am focusing on the psychological and emotional needs of the foreign student community.

In my research project, I am conveying my observations of the lives of Chinese students in discreet messages, intending to raise discussion and provide first year Chinese students with practical forms of communication and reassurance.

Mind the Gap was a project in 2015 CSM degree show, it draws attention to the problem of Chinese students’ who face difficulties with interpersonal communication in English. The film draws attention to this problem as a way of starting a discussion and providing constructive support.

Mind the Gap was a project in 2015 CSM degree show, it draws attention to the problem of Chinese students’ who face difficulties with interpersonal communication in English. The film draws attention to this problem as a way of starting a discussion and providing constructive support. 

The project in some degree is similar with mine as we are both intend to raise discussion and provide first year Chinese students with useful suggestions and methods, no matter functional or poetic ones.

The photos were part of audiences’ feedback. So glad to see people were pay attention on international students’ problems and the project successfully aroused their resonance.
