Chapter 2 - Coffee Hangout
When your last class was over you pulled out your phone and texted him.
You put your phone away and got ready to pack up for the day. After that you grab your bag and the flower that Senku gave you and leave your classroom for the day. A few days past and it's finally Saturday so you got ready and put on something nice and style your mini twist when you was finished you checked your phone to see if Senku gave the coffee shop location so you can drive or walk there if it's close and the coffee shop is really close so you decided to walk there and let Senku know you will be there soon. When you got there you could smell the freshly baked bread and muffins and saw Senku at the table and he waved at you and did the same as well as sat down at the table.
“Wow, I didn’t know this place was this close, not bad Senku!” you smiled.
“I told you I will win,” he smirked.
“Don’t get too cocky, we have to go to my favorite coffee shop next !” you said with a cocky smile.
“Yea, yea,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
The waiter came to your table and took your order. You order an espresso and a chocolate muffin while Senku orders tea. While you two wait, y’all get to know each other more.
“So, what's it like being the smartest guy in the world?” you asked.
“It’s nothing special to be honest,” he chuckled.
“Whatever you mister, anyway, what do you like to do anything fun besides staying in your classroom?” you rise a brow.
“Ha, ha, well, I do like to hang out with my friends,”
“You with friends? And I thought your friend was science,” you laugh lightly.
“Very fun, but I do go out from time to time. What about you? What do you like to do in your free time?” he asked.
“Hm, I sometimes go for a nightly walk, also read manga, and feed the kittens near my apartment complex. They’re so cute!” you replied.
“Nice,” he smiles.
Soon the waiter came back with your guys' orders and placed them on the table. You two continue y’all convo after sometime you two finish eating and drinking.
“I'll be back, I'm going to pay, my treat,” he said while getting up and walking to the cashier and paying for everything. You got up and walked to the door and waited for Senku to come back. When he came, both of you walked out of the coffee shop.
“I must say the food and coffee wasn’t bad,” you mention.
“Told you, but let’s go to your fav coffee shop and really see who won,” he smirked.
“You on!” you smiled.
You two went to the coffee shop and sat near a window and waited for the waiter.
“Cute coffee shop,” he said while looking around.
“I know! I even know the owner so I kinda have a discount this time it's on me!” you said.
He laughs and replied, “Alright,”
Soon the waiter came to your table and took your guy's order. After that y'all continued getting to know each other while you waited for your order.
“Oh, yea, the team is having a staff party and I was wondering if you gotta come?” you asked.
“Hm, I might,” he replies.
“If you are, we should go together so let me know!” you smile.
“I keep that in mind,” he rubs the back of his neck and smiles.
Shortly, the waiter came back with the order and placed them on the table and walked away. You just order a cheesecake while Senku orders a chocolate cheesecake. You two ate and talked more later you guys finished eating and you got up to pay for the food. After that y'all walk out of the coffee shop.
“Well I think we both deserve a win,” you chuckle.
“Yea, we both got good taste,” he smiles.
You laughed lightly and said, “ I had a good time! We should do this again,”
“I agree, well see you, Y/N,” he waved.
“Same!” you said with a big smile and waved back
