Writing something pretty angsty ATM so I needed some fluff to help me try and make sense of the other stuff.
I stole Aria who is owned by @lovekenya24 . I’m sorry I give her back and if you don’t like this I will take it down.

Also, thank you @coffee-randomness for giving me a reason to write a character I don’t normally write. I mean, who doesn’t love them some Wally? I know I do!
Wally was a flirt by nature. Meeting people and making them at ease was just who he was.
For whatever reason, he just couldn’t seem to catch his footing. Like no matter what he did he was tripping all over himself. Metaphorically and also literally.
“Oh hi Wally?” the pretty girl smiled up at him from the book she was reading. Curled up on the couch surrounded by fluffy pillows like they were almost swallowing her up. Her big eyes looking up at him making him forget everything he was going to say. She just looked so cute on her throne of fluff.
Silence, just the two of them looking at each other.
Maia coughed from somewhere across the room and the sound of Dick laughing could be heard.
“Cool… well good to know” Wally said before dashing off.
“Know what?” Aria called but he was already gone.
She smiled up at him from where she was sitting on her towel on the beach, eating an ice cream with Maia. Her book next to feet as her toes played in the warm sand kicking up small puffs of golden dust. A bit of ice cream smudged across her nose. Eyes watching him, waiting for the end of that thought.
But nothing came. “Uh what are you reading?”
“History on Gotham police, it’s pretty interesting.”
“Oh…” he was gone in an instant only to come back moments later, “Yeah how they used the mafia to protect the bay during the war was really interesting but it backfired years down the road.”
“Did you just go read the book and come back?” Maia snickered
“What was just you?” Aria asked deflecting Maia’s probing.
“When you first came over, you asked me if it was just me or, and never told me what.”
“Oh… yeah uh… it’s warm today isn’t it?”
Next to her Maia shook her head. This guy needed some help.
Aria looked up from her book, her elbows resting on the counter as rock music played in the background. A pot of boiling water slightly forgotten as she was lost in her book.
A small yellow card fell on top of her book. Frowning she picked it up looking it over, the words Library written in bold letters on the front. “What?” she asked looking back up at him.
“I’m checking you out,” he said, a huge smile on his face as he winked. Aria burst out laughing handing him the card back.
“Better make sure you don’t have any overdue fees.”
“Because you might, seeing how long it took.” Maia said from her seat at the table. Ahhh being ignored by two lovebirds had it’s perks when they give you that surprised look. Really guys? She’d been here this whole time.
