Tell them a secret that your muse never told anyone, tell them how yours feels about them, an opinion- whether it is about my muse, someone else’s muse, something unpopular, or anything else. Give them the local gossip, rant about a topic or a problem that needs some insight on. Tell them a story, a dream, a nightmare, complain about the weather. Just talk to them.

Roy shrugged her shoulders though she new she would eventually give in. Marion had a way about her that meant Roy listened to her advice when she seldom took another’s. “If you want.” It wasn’t as if these were the worst injuries she’d ever had but they weren’t exactly pleasant either. The other woman seemed to share her concern that the quiet only meant something more as heading their way soon. Still, for now she supposed there was nothing to do but enjoy the peace and quiet. Though that was something Roy wasn’t sure she was capable of doing. “Two soulmates,” She confirmed, hand instinctively reaching to brush against her mark. “Rare and, having my luck, even more complicated. “He’s my adopted Dad’s best friend and Ollie is….well he’s not taking it well.” She grinned. “Not gonna lie, it’s kinda fun seeing him squirm.” Her gaze flickered to Marion’s mark. as far as she knew the other woman had never found her mate, something that Roy knew had to be crushing whenever a patron came in giddy over finding their’s at last.

“I do.” Marion insisted, she’d always felt protective of Roy even if she was only a couple of years younger than her but that never stopped her from wanting to make sure she was okay for herself. But the quietness made the world too eerie for her liking and she wished that something would happen if only to get her edge off. Maybe she should go to the archery range tomorrow. She’d think on it.

Her eyes glanced up in shock as slight amusement filled them. “Your adopted dad’s best friend..... The pilot? The one you talk about a lot?” She asked as she made a requested drink and slid it down the bar before turning her attention back to Roy. She wasn’t bothered by her own mark anymore. She just accepted that maybe he was never going to come and she’d only see him in her dreams for the rest of her life. But that was alright with her. At least that’s what she told herself.

“It seems like it. Whose the other half of your trio?” She asked, head tilting to the side with a curious gleam in her eyes. “Does this mean you’re going to bring them in to meet me so I can approve?”

She couldn’t help it, she winced slightly as he touched her. She didn’t even know if he would catch it, but the aftershocks of the kryptonite left her nerve endings on a ‘high’ setting, everything was overstimulating to the point of pain. Even the dress she wore, which normally was one of her favorites felt tight, itchy, and as if it were made from the roughest fabric possible. But still, she leaned into him, the comfort he provided was more of a priority then the dull burning pain that accompanied the aftershocks. “I don’t know what Clark’s told you about green kryptonite.”

A frown graced his face as she felt her wince, he softened his touch just a bit before placing a soft kiss to the side of her temple and breathing in gently. HIs brow raised suddenly before his eyes narrowed. “He’s told me enough. Have you been in contact with it?” He asked, taking in the facts and what he knew it did to Clark and applying it now. “Has someone used it against you? I thought only Clark had it locked away....”

Harley was three shots in, and sipping a rum and coke which meant she was gearing up to do some dancing. But she was still sitting at the bar, facing away from it with an elbow propped up on the wooden surface. The place was full of skeezy people doing even skeezier business, and Harley was looking for someone to cozy up to that could be convinced to give her some money.

So she noticed the blonde when she walked in because she was easily the most attractive person in the place aside from Harley herself, and because she was looking right at her. But being hot wasn’t enough to get Harley’s attention for long, and after arching an eyebrow slightly, her gaze drifted away.

When the woman addressed her, Harley turned on her seat to face her more fully. “Yeah, sure, honey, it’s a free country.” The alcohol had made her easy-going, and she grinned after the initial shock of being spoken to by an apparently upstanding citizen wore off. But even this alcohol-softened expression bordered on predatory. “In fact, it’s my pleasure. I’d love to know what brought you here.”

The blonde could be pleasant for a little longer, she could flirt and charm, but that wasn’t going to stop her from achieving her goal. She laughed a little as she did take a seat and thanked the bartender. Adraine wouldn’t outright ask about her art. Not yet.

She smiled back at her, eyes turning flirtatious along with her smile as her finger twirled a lock of hair. “Just here to let loose.” She smiled widely at her as she downed her vodka and looked towards the dance floor. “Have some fun, maybe do something dangerous.” It wasn’t exactly a lie. Because what she was doing, was dangerous and something she probably shouldn’t be doing but oh well.

Blue eyes glance back at Harley as she hums. “You dance?”

Roy waved her off with a shake of her head. “I’m fine. besides it’s not like I’ve got anything else to do with my time…besides drinking.” She raised her glass in a mock cheer and took another sip. “Still, got one hell of a bruise on my thigh and possibly a cracked rib, having a night off isn’t terrible.” “Yea, I never trust the quiet.” She admitted. In fact Roy never trusted when things seemed to be going well. Always meant things were about to get worse in her experience. Her personal life had been less quiet and more/// well she wouldn’t call it quiet by any stretch of the imagination but it was. “It’s good. I mean it’s not exactly…” She frowned. “I have someone… kinda two someones and it’s….it’s complicated.”

Marion hummed once more before laughing as she nodded. “But you’re drinking here with me, in my bar. There’s some excitement.” She told her before concern filled her eyes. Of course, Marion knew what Roy did was dangerous and she admired her for doing it. But that didn’t stop her from worrying. “If you’re smart, you’ll let me look at them later.”

A sigh escaped her lips as Marion nodded. The quiet always unsettled her. Especially when she hadn’t heard anything from John lately. That worried her. Something was coming and Marion didn’t like it.

Her brow raised at her, brown eyes sparkling just a little as she leaned forward. “Two someones?” She asked, titling her head to the side as she caught sight of her own soul mark. An arrow through a banner. She never talked about it much. “As in two soulmates? That one guy you were telling me about, wasn’t it? Having two soulmates are rare, I hear.”
