۞ — A small sigh left the bounty hunter’s lips as he looked at the setting sun at the horizon. He thought he’d be left alone to have some time for himself, but the fate seemed to say otherwise. However, the blonde woman standing behind him particular didn’t bother him too much anymore. Her presence, to be quite frank sort of grew on him - not that he would say that, of course.

"Yer out pretty late."

"... ?" Meene raised an eyebrow as she glanced at the man, quite surprised by the statement he made all of a sudden. The young woman was about to leave, but now... well, now she wasn't entirely sure about that. She was confused, to say the least. On the other hand, she always failed to understand him. "Yes, I am." That was rather obvious, actually, wasn't it? "... so... what? Is that a problem?"

۞ — “Oh, it’s y’again.” The male lazily glanced over towards the familiar blonde woman, “I guess so.”

"Yes. Me again." The woman replied with a shrug as she hadn't got much to say in response - if he didn't want to talk to her, then he wouldn't respond anyway.

"Well… you see…" She didn’t know how she was supposed to explain it to her child. "… I think you shouldn’t be afraid of your father. I know he can be - sometimes very - terrifying from time to time, but still, he would never, and I repeat, never hurt you.
