Mother🌛🌕🌜Moon
For so long I felt uncomfortable being in my body after being violated by a friend, strangers and by those I “loved” who only used or exploited my body for their own personal gain. It took years to work through many triggers and the shame that came with my trauma. Those violations were a big part of why I stopped doing photography as well. I feared my feminity and body due to those experiences and retracted into myself. I was angry and hurt for so long. What was done to me will never be okay, but I don’t have to further fear my story. Many tried to silence my pain and it worked at times, but my voice is for me. My truth and emotions are more than valid. The intention behind what was down will never take away from how it impacted me. My truth is for me. I integrated so much over the years and my sexuality, femininity and body is forever mine to embrace. It’s refreshing to see the beauty of my temple again and the sacred space it is for all the souls that I’ve grown and continue to✨🤰🏼🌸🍑🧜🏻♀️🌿🧘🏼♀️
