Mother🌛🌕🌜Moon
There is something magical about childbirth. I wish I could switch out the word pain for strength. Pain comes off as weak or broken, but bringing life into this world is none of those things. Labor and birth are transcendent. It’s empowering and raw. I believe becoming a mother is a sacred act, no matter how many times you may deliver a baby; for each time brings you closer to a newer you. Bringing forth new life into the world is powerful work for anyone to perform. Labor and birth are portrayed so differently through the media and made to be this terrible thing we must go through to meet our child. I believe it to be much more beautiful than that. We forget that we literally hold an ocean within our womb. Each contraction is a wave within our ocean. Powerful, strong and rhythmic. Unceasing. Wave after wave. We often think that these intense waves are stronger than us, but they aren’t, for they are us. We must let ourselves go with the flow. Its as if my child and I are carried over crest and trough, eliminating fear during labor. We begin to let go and allow ourselves to be swept into birth. I surrender myself to the magic of the waves as they follow after one another. My body is harmonizing in synchronization. I’ve given trust to my roots and my body responds, knowing what to do. I no longer fight the waves and allow them to carry us to where we meet. Waves in the sea…flowing like the tide, there is no reason to deny I am Earth. All I must do is let go and before I know it, a new life becomes and is cradled in the arms of Earth; aligning two heartbeats. In the end, as the beginning, we are all of creation. Every birth is all that is potential and new in the world, as well as all that can and will be. They are all truth, all trust, all hope, and all love. That overwhelming and all-encompassing love that we feel in our hearts toward our infant that moves us to tears, is the love ever-present in all of creation. It is the very spirit that holds the universe together. Raw, pure and unconditional Love. It is our reason for being💗🔮 Amor Vincit Omnia~Love conquers all
