@xnautleader
Looking for an RP Partner. Message me if you are interested, I am getting back into the swing of things again.
(Apologies)
(I am sorry that I haven't been around much this past week, but I will be back to RP'ing again, more than likely tomorrow if nothing bad comes up. I have to work early at Six in the morning, however, it is only for Three hours, and I will be back at around Nine-Thirty. Here is my note because I know some people had started to worry. Sorry!)
*as he was leaving the base he crossed another soldier and something didn't seem right, "cue metal gear solid red exclamation point above his head* You there soldier, halt! *turns in attention towards you* There's something about you that seems a bit off and I'm not sure what it i---*sniff sniff* hang on a minute is that vanilla I smell!?
Sweatdrops as he’s been figured. Oh he knew he should’ve put something to diskies his scent. Instead of answering the shoulder starts running “crapcrapcrap!”
*he drops Lighty and walks over to him and hog ties him with the rope and proceeds to pick him up over his shoulder and continues to walk down the long hall as the Theme of the X naut fortress plays in his head bobbing his head along like a baws* “stop your squirmin and take it like a man,I don’t like this anymore then you do.” *he makes his way to Grodus’ chamber* “Units I’d suggest you move cause I’ve got a straggler and his highness is going to want to see this personally.”
The X-Naut Elites guarding the door saluted the new recruit, giving the “OK”, but not before sparing some words before moving.
"Don’t try to suggest that we do anything, you treat us like we’re Lord Crump and give us proper respect. We didn’t get this way because of nothing."
The X-Naut Elites opened the door for the new recruit holding the hostage, revealing Grodus turned around in thought on the opposite side of the room. Grodus turned around to see the new recruit holding the hostage and he placed the end of his scepter onto the floor.
"Hmm.. what have we here now?"
*frowns slightly, tilts head* "I--uh oh dear,I'm not dimwitted your greatness I'm but a young duplighost who has had the pleasure of discovering such an intriguing base such as this and might I say hiding it's entrance within an underground pipeline of Rogueport is dare I say mind blowing." *he replied with a grin* "I'm picking up a bit of distress in your tone though may I ask what seems to be troubling you Sir Grodus,I'd be much obliged to offer some assistance if thou wouldst allow it."
"Hmm.. I see. So you were simply lucky in the finding of this base. Though it never occurred to me that the pipeline from Rogueport could possibly reach here, I will have to make sure that is fixed."
Grodus continued to gaze upon this strange boy from the top of his steps.
"I am in no distress. Your analyzing skills are in definite need of work. Your intelligence may be dismal, but your request to work for my favor is perhaps the only smart move that you have made, and even that is a stretch on your part."
Grodus lowered the bottom end of his scepter onto the ground and used his other hand to hold the bottom end of his head cloth.
"Your measly service could possibly be of little use to me, though that is better than nothing. What could you possibly do to encourage me to enlist you into my society?"
*he accepted the keycard and mobile device and put them within the pockets of his uniform* Understood my Liege,oh while I’m out would you like me to stop by and pick up anything nice for you later,I hear there’s a new coffee shop about a mile away and they’ve got a new Shrooma’late supreme mocha blend that is rumored to bring both vigor and relief…I know that’s not a part of my mission, but think of it as a nice side mission from a unit who takes the time to care about a leader who works overtime and works hard to keep this place up and running. *he chuckled to himself* Anywho I’ll see myself out and I’ll officially begin the main objective, until our paths cross again Sir. *Salutes and leaves Grodus’ room in an orderly fashion as he makes way for the armory and equips himself with a foot soldier grade blaster,a pair of binoculars, and a few emergency potions and makes off*
"No, I do not need caffeine you imbecile.. simply do what I asked and do only that. I do not need you slacking on the job and partaking in trivial things such as coffee."
Grodus watched as the other led himself out. As soon as the other saluted and left the room, Grodus turned back around again to think.
"Hmmm.. that boy is energetic.. but no matter, all of my henchman have something incredibly moronic about them. Either way, a new recruit is better than no recruit. I must know what Mario is up to if I ever wish to initiate another full fledged plan.. this time, there will be no mistakes."

"Your measly service could possibly be of little use to me, though that is better than nothing. What could you possibly do to encourage me to enlist you into my society?"
*he simply shook his head in disagreement* “no,not at all my Liege having such a thought without first consulting you would be grounds for immediate punishment,as for how I became aware of the disappearance of the one you mentioned as Lord Crump when I came to this base I noticed one of the vehicles wasn’t in it’s previous place therefore I was lead to think one of the higher ranks took it….*behind his goggles a blank expression was present followed by an un-impressed tone in his voice* …Not only that but the armory was left open and I’m assuming that in Lord Crump’s haste he forgot to close it… *he openly facepalmed himself* I now see why you label him a failure cause if an intruder were to come in and gain entry to the armory I fear the results would be catastrophic.
"Hmm, you are giving proper respect. Keep it up and succeed in your missions, and I may possibly even just raise you to a higher rank. Though do not start getting day dreams about it, it is ONLY a possibility.."
Grodus shook his head, what the other was saying described Lord Crump's actions very well. The hastiness, the forgetfulness, it was all there. These are the kinds of things that only Lord Crump could manage to do.
"Yes.. Lord Crump is a buffoon, if it were not so clearly obvious. Do not take any concern towards the armory. Every weapon and piece of equipment in there is Key Card activated, and that is the reason why only the X-Nauts may use them."
Grodus thought for a moment once again, considering the protocol that was going to need to take place now for the other.
"Hmm.. you will go and seek out Lord Crump. He should be somewhere in the Mushroom Kingdom.. possibly near Mario's residence. If you do not find him, then you will continue his job instead and spy on Mario. You will need supplies for this."
Grodus slammed the bottom end of his scepter onto the floor. Up rose a Key Card and Screen Mobile Device in front of the others body. The Key Card was for use in bringing a piece of equipment along the way, and the other was for keeping in contact with Grodus.
"Take these and go. You will do as I order. Start your mission now, and do not fail me, as failure will not be tolerated."
Knocks on the door of the chair base dressed as an xnaut
The base of the X-Nauts was hidden away underneath the fountain of Poshley Heights, How did this Yoshi know of its whereabouts? Either way, an X-Naut reading a newspaper, lounging about in a chair quickly brought down the surveillance goggles to see who was standing outside. It seemed as though it was just an X-Naut, so he opened up the door to the base, the stairs leading downwards into it.
The base was huge, different doorways, a main hallway once you reached the inside with X-Nauts patrolling each and every side. Even Elite X-Nauts were guarding Grodus' room for extra protection. This was very heavy duty surveillance now.
The X-Naut who let the other in sat back down in his chair and continued to read his newspaper, speaking few words to the one who just came in, thinking it was someone who it wasn't.
"Hey Bill, what's going on man?"
It seemed that once again, a teleporting spell went wrong and sent the count to another world. The X-naut base to be precise. As the count wandered the oddly empty halls, he finally saw someone. "Ah! Excuse me," Legato said and walked up to the stranger. "If it isn't too much to ask, can you tell me where I am?"
Grodus had been facing his door once again, being deep in thought. This was the normal stance for Grodus to normally be in when someone would just come walking in, as that way he was more concealed in his thoughts. The hissing of the steam coming of the door when it was opened was enough to make him turn around, however.
"I do not want an excuse from a stranger such as yourself. You have, accidentally or not, invaded my base. For that, there is no forgiveness that I can grant you. If you knew anything about the rules of formality, it is that you should be the one to introduce yourself first before asking ridiculous questions, Worm. Though I certainly wish that I cared more."
"I shan’t forget my place, my dear sir," the count replied and gave another bow. Despite his calmness on the inside, he was quite annoyed in the inside being called a worm once more and being looked down on. He wanted to put the other in their place… But being an actor, he reminded himself to just act it out and not show his true emotions. "Well, you have only just met me. Though, it’s not my place to convince you of my title. As for barging into your base, I once again sincerely apologize. As you see, someone teleported me out of my manor while I was sleeping, thanks to my lazy servants slacking off… And being in another world, it takes time for me to teleport back," the count easily lied. He wasn’t about to admit that his spell was responsible for sending him here. And for teleporting back, he had no clue when the teleportation magic would work once more.
"I am not here to cause any trouble, my dear sir. I give you my word. I will gladly offer my service to make up for my intrusion to your base," the sorcerer answered with a fake smile. Ugh. Curse the spell he used. Now he had to do chores.. All he wanted to do was go to the Doughnut Kingdom to get one of those savory cakes.. But nope, here he was, talking to some odd creature that continued look down on him.
"Hmm.. see to it that you do not forget. As for your servants mishaps, you should take more heed to whom you hire. After all, if it is their mistake, then it is your mistake in the first place for even hiring them or assigning them whatever duty you gave them."
Grodus heard as the other proclaimed that he was not there to do any harm, though the odd and awkward smile that the other was giving was strange.
"A befitting punishment for your crime is in order then. For barging into my residence, Worm. I demand that you sweep the main hallway. With the X-Nauts beginning their patrol once more, I will need someone to clean, and they cannot currently do it."

"Your measly service could possibly be of little use to me, though that is better than nothing. What could you possibly do to encourage me to enlist you into my society?"
*he did nothing but nodded in agreement* “this unit wouldn’t have it any other way my liege, now then back to business I cannot help but shake the feeling that one of our higher ranked X naut units haven’t reported back to base in quite a while, would you be so kind as to inform me of his last location so that I may be able to commence a thorough search?” *he adjusted his goggles and awaited Grodus’ command*
Grodus, behind his goggles, squinted down at the X-Naut he had just recruited. It wasn't visible, so to the other it would just look more as if he was looming over him.
"Hmmmm.. something IS odd about you.. I don't ever recall telling anyone besides my Higher Rank of his mission.. and for you to know about this is peculiar.. but I will keep the thought at bay for now. The Higher Rank that you are speaking of is known as Lord Crump. He is an utter failure, but he is someone that is very malleable to my needs. I sent him on a trip to spy on Mario.. but he has not returned for a long time."
Grodus once again was in thought for a moment, coming back to realization.
"You are thinking of going to seek out Lord Crump, are you?"

If you knew anything about the rules of formality, it is that you should be the one to introduce yourself first before asking ridiculous questions, Worm. Though I certainly wish that I cared more."
Legato wasn’t exactly prepared to see this.. robotic looking creature. Nor the hostile reaction, but it was only natural, since he stumbled into the being’s base. “My deepest apologies, I shall share not excuse that I ahve unless you ask of it, I do not request forgiveness either, dear sir” the sorcerer apologized and gave a deep bow and held it for a good moment. “And it was rather rude of my to ask where I am, without introducing myself first, whether you do care or not. I am Count Legato, I am from the world known as Dreamside,” Legato introduced and held back the claim of the ‘most beautiful creature alive.’ The count was quite full of his looks.
Legato didn’t particularly enjoy the fact he was called a worm, but he deiced it was best not speak against it… not now at least. There were far worse insults anyways…
Grodus watched the other, patting his scepter into his hand as normal.
"At least you have decent manners for a Worm, you seem to at least know your place. Do not forget it. As for introductions.. your title holds nobility, and yet you do not seem like the type to have it, especially not with the act of barging into my base."
Grodus kept a tight grip onto his scepter, allowing it to spark from the other end quite a bit as he did so.
"Tell me, Worm. Are you here to cause trouble, or are you here to actually do something beneficial for me during your brief stay? I will be taking my answer now, as there is no other option for you."

"Your measly service could possibly be of little use to me, though that is better than nothing. What could you possibly do to encourage me to enlist you into my society?"
*he smirked as he approached Grodus and once again took another form*
*now appearing as an X naut foot soldier* “my apologies my liege if my previous form has brought forth disgust.Allow me to explain my reason for choosing that form,I believe that blue spotted members of the Toad race are the more respectful and strong spine’d unlike their other color assorted selection not only that but these days the blue spotted Toads are rarely seen and that’s what make them unique….If you’ll allow me to say not saying her army will ever stand a shell of a chance to yours, but if Princess Toadstool had more blue spotted toads at her command maybe Bowser wouldn’t be able to invade her quarters.” *he ended his explanation with a traditional X naut salute* ”This unit would be more then happy to fill out your orders and will wear your sigil with pride*
Grodus watched as the ghost transformed into a normal, low ranked X-Naut. The other seemed to know his place in the rankings well. Grodus listened to the other, hearing his speech of Blue Spotted Toads. Though Grodus was in fact this same species, he would never admit to it, nor did he like to remember that he was once as weak as one. Granted, he was much more robotic than Toad by this point.
"Yes, that girls power does not stand a chance to mine. Her lackeys are indefinitely inferior to my own, as it is plain to see. The only reason that my henchman are able to complete tasks is because I am the one who orders them to do so. If I wasn't, they would be scattered and lost like bugs."
Grodus looked down at the "X-Naut" and kept his scepter to his right hand, lowering it down onto the others shoulder, allowing it to spark and imbue an X-Naut symbol onto the side of the others collar. This would show others whom the ghost belonged to.
"You now belong to me. You will look back on this day once I have gained control and remember it well, knowing you chose a magnificent master."

OOC: not gonna lie your take on Sir Grodus's voice sounds very menacing and empowering,if paper mario ever received speaking roles you'd be great for the role.
(Ahh, you are very kind! I am glad to know that there are others who appreciate the work put into the voices that I do. Little compliments like this really help with motivation, so thank you very much for that.)

"Your measly service could possibly be of little use to me, though that is better than nothing. What could you possibly do to encourage me to enlist you into my society?"
*smirks* “Well I’m sure you already know of my race’s capabilities of taking shape of other lifeforms.” *he demonstrates by transforming into a punk looking Toad*
"Any form I can think of I can become it,and interestingly enough I can even make forms of my own and use them as my own living body, but enough about that. I figured I’d do some scouting and see if I can help you find anyone if there’s someone in particular that’s gone missing." *he rubbed the back of his cap* "As far as rewards go I’m a pretty happy go lucky guy and I’m not too picky about things so should you decide whether or not to reward my efforts is completely up to you and I’m pleased either way as long as I’ve proven to be of service." *he said with both a straight face and with honesty*
Interesting, he turned into a Toad. A blue-spotted one at that. What was this strange and weird attire that he had decided to dress in during his transformation? It mattered not.
"Out of all things, that is the kind of beast you transform into to impress me. While you make very strange decisions, I have no reason to not employ you into my faction. Your reward will be having me not force you into creating statues of me once I have controlled this world. You will have freedom. The ones who have already allied with me are somewhat smart, as they already know of my soon to be rule. You are in that group of people."
Grodus once again lifted his scepter and patted it into the palm of his hand.
"Now, if you are enlisted, you will need the appropriate sigil on your clothing. Come, I will grant you my mark to show others who you are subservient too."

Grodus Voice Acting - New Take
(Something done in my spare time, I changed his voice a bit again. I have always wanted to do a Voice Acted RP, but there are very few Mario Voice Acting related RP blogs. So that is impossible.)
"Ah. I see we meet again."
The Yoshi must have been walking just outside the borders of Poshley Heights considering he had seen what he believed to be Grodus. But Grodus was out for important reasons and had other matters to attend too. Instead, what the Yoshi saw was just an X-Naut behind a bush, wearing a fake replica of Grodus’ headpiece. It was sticking out like a rainbow in a pool of white colored crayons.
"Huh? Was someone trying to talk to me or something..? Dunno.. hope not.. oh well. Man, this comic is so epic, Sir Grodus is the coolest!"
The X-Naut picked up his milkshake as he continued to read his comic behind the bush. He didn’t really want to get caught, but he thought he heard someone, though at the same time he didn’t want to get caught so he flipped the pages more quietly.
(X-Naut-Black [Lord Crump])
(It is a shame to see that the old Lord Crump blog is now gone. I had much fun roleplaying with them for the short time that I had the chance too. To be quite honest, they were most of the motivation I had for making this blog. So even though they perhaps cannot see this message, I thank them whole-heartedly for being such a desirable person to roleplay with.)
(I do not plan on taking this blog down, as I very much enjoy Grodus. Though it would be very grand to see a new Lord Crump come up sometime in the future, though who knows as to who would play as him. Either way, if there is not one, I will just continue my normal routine.)
