Content warnings for: Body Horror, Neurological illness, Murder, Implied animal death, implied cannibalism (the host doesn't partake), Foodborne illness CAT 3 Form 1 DOE manifested in ββββββββββ England, following a scandal involving contaminated beef made available to consumers, the host partook in some of the contaminated meat and grew paranoid that they had contracted a βββββ βββββββ after contracting another foodborne illness. The resulting paranoia and isolation led to the manifestation of a DOE as they withdrew from their life. The resulting DOE resembled a deer and became some sort of chimaera of other common prey animals, and was an agile, deadly foe despite presenting with Chronic Wasting Disease. The DOE presented with a high intelligence and would utilise a hunting method in which victims would ββ ββββ ββ ββββ. It would also break up its outline using its natural markings. The DOE'S hunting grounds resembled empty fields and slaughterhouses. After a hunt, the DOE would drag its kill to its host, offering it as an uncontaminated, safe meal. #Note // X2813 This hunt was previously categorised as a joint HOUND and LORD hunt. Due to the previous failed dispatch, the execution was restricted to essential personnel only. #Credits The DOE is from the CAIN Archive Field Guide To Fighting an Ever-Increasing Number of Sins by LargeHippo. https://largehippo.itch.io/cain-archive-field-guide-to-fighting-an-ever-increasing-number-of-sins The DOE is probably one of my favourites from the book, it has an interesting approach to isolating player characters and gives the sin interesting modifications to its behaviour.
