Is it just me or is Jesse extremely underrated as an actor, not just by critics but by fans too? He came in to replace the lead on an existing show and he has killed it! Watching the last episode, anytime he is in a scene it’s a standout. He showed off comedy, fight skills and emotional scenes in one episode and nailed all of them. I don’t understand why he never gets praise for how good an actor he is.
Hiya! Happy Jesse's Birthday to those who celebrate. 🥰
Well I obviously agree that he's wonderful. I've been loving every moment of his time on FBI International.
I think a lot of people have social media fatigue these days and have simply been posting less. Fewer fandom posts, less discussion, less praise. And ongoing procedurals just don't get a lot of focus from critics.
You know where he gets a ton of praise though? From co-workers. Everyone who works with him seems full of praise, talking about how supportive he is as a co-star, how good a person he is, how good he is as a director. You can tell just from BTS clips and social media posts how much people who know him, love him. And that is the best praise a person can get.
