“Why are men like this Kiara? Why can’t they leave us in peace, unless they’re like stupidly hot, smart and nice and then I’d be fine with it.” The boy smiled hoping their little conversation would pay off and the unwarranted advances would cease. He was glad this place had many who were kind and kindred souls.
“Honestly, I’m so pleased sometimes that I’m bisexual so I don’t have just men. Have you ever truly met that man, usually there seems to be some sort of red flag. At least, all the guys I like tend to act like that.’
“Come do my job for me sometime, it’s never that boring,” he mused. “Something light. I don’t feel like getting scared tonight, even if I do like horror movies.”
“I haven’t reached that point yet! Plus, I have a feeling I’d be bad at it. I’m good at teaching.” She nodded, “Good plan. I’m not looking for that as well.”
he laughed ‘there’s so many to choose from,” he said looking her over. “okay,’ he said turning to the bartender and ordering something strong but fruity. “how about that?” he asked when the bartender served it up.
“I never said it would be easy. It just isn’t me.” Sienna always liked toying with people first, it being a good way to see if they were actually interested. Taking a sip of the drink, she nodded. “Not bad, not bad at all.”
Fleur had been out of the house for a few hours, picking up her and Lola’s groceries for the week. She’d always enjoyed cooking, finding it to be a good stress reliever, something to distract her from working too much. “Lo?” She called out into the empty villa, hoping her best friend was somewhere to help bring in all the stuff. “If you help me unpack everything, I promise to cook your favourite dinner?!”
Fleur had slowly been sipping on a hot chocolate in the coffee shop, doing her best to stay awake. Though she was technically taking a year out, she still did her best to study and had ended up reading Romeo and Juliet until three in the morning. The blonde smiled as she recognised a person, obviously looking for a place to sit. “You can sit here if you want.”
“You know, shockingly, I don’t hate my job,” Chris hummed. “The hard labor isn’t ideal. But sometimes I get a good story out of it. And sometimes it even makes me feel pretty smart. Because I may not be super bright, but even I know not to flush a condom down the toilet, so there’s that.”
“What do you do then?” Fleur wondered, interested to hear what he had to say. She loved meeting new people and finding out more about them. She’d worked out it made her feel less anxious when talking to strangers.
“can you take my picture?” she asked, shoving her phone into their hands as she backed up and posed against the pink wall, tilting her head up. “take a bunch really quickly so i can choose.” she insisted.
Fleur smiled softly at her, nodding her head. “Of course! Are there any particular angles you want me to hit?” This wasn’t the first time she’d been asked to take pictures, used to it at Columbia. “I’m Fleur, by the way!”
[LILI REINHART] – [FLEUR BEAUMONT] is now arriving in prism bay! When they’re at home, they’re a [STUDENT] and are from [SURREY, ENGLAND]. they are [20] and identify as [PANSEXUAL] and [CIS-FEMALE] and use [SHE/HER] pronouns. some people say they are [CARING, CONSIDERATE, HARD-WORKING ], but they’re also [GULLIBLE, EMOTIONAL, ANXIOUS].
Fleur was born to a single mother living in East Molesey, a town in Surrey near to London. She never knew her father, her mother barely talking about him apart from to say that he wouldn’t be involved in her life. It wasn’t until later that she discovered that he had only been in England for a week where he made Angelica, Fleur’s mother fall in love before leaving and after finding out she was pregnant, mentioned that he had a wife with two children.
Angelica worked several jobs as well as studied at the local college, getting a degree and becoming a teacher at the secondary school. Soon after getting qualified when Fleur was five, she met Craig who became her stepfather when the girl was eight. Life for the girl felt absolutely perfect to her, never feeling like she was missing out on having just one person who she relied on for everything.
Her mother wanted Fleur to have everything so forked out money on dance lessons, singing lessons and also on a local theatre company. It was obvious the girl was meant for the stage, never being happier than she was in a spotlight. Though extremely shy outside of performing, being on stage made her happy and confident and her real self. Though she didn’t see herself as talented originally, the feedback showed she was better than she thought. From the age of seven, she wanted to be an actress and make it to Broadway. Musical theatre was her life and it’s what she always wanted to work towards.
DEATH WARNING- Things changed completely when her mother and stepfather died in a car accident on their way back from a date night when she was twelve. She’d been sleeping until the babysitter woke the girl up from letting out a loud shout. Fleur barely remembers anything about that night apart from realising that the police officers had no idea what to do with her. She spent a few weeks in foster care whilst they tried to find family, coming across her father’s name. He reluctantly agreed to let her move in with her, though there was a catch. He lived all the way in America, living and working in Boston.
With nowhere else to go, Fleur moved in with her father and his family, a middle-class family living in the suburbs. Though she felt alone, her ‘stepmother’ did her best to help her settle in and make her feel like one of the family. Though she always felt like a bit of an outsider, Fleur did feel like they loved her, even though things were complicated. She continued her drama studies, knowing it was the only thing for her. Her eyes were set on Columbia, always having a dream to move to New York and be on Broadway.
After auditioning, Fleur was given a partial scholarship to Columbia University and aged eighteen, moved into a dorm. Her roommate, Lorena and Fleur immediately became friends, the two becoming best friends within weeks. Though in some ways the two were completely different, they had similarities that mean they’re still friends today. They have both currently taken a leave at the school for a year, something Fleur wouldn’t have done without her influence.
She identifies as being pansexual, though she has never acted on any feelings. Spending a lot of her teen years in therapy, she’s never had a partner. The only thing she knows about herself is that love is love, no matter on the gender of the recipient.
Personality wise, Fleur is extremely sweet and good-natured. Though she is a complete and utter workaholic, she tries to get along with everyone and is an extremely loyal friend, even if the recipient doesn’t show her the same respect. Her anxiety and slight OCD tendencies can occasionally lead her to be a bit of a workaholic and she finds it easy to shut herself off from socialising, as she wants to be her best self and set herself up from her future
