Life is much like the job hunting process
Life is much like the job hunting process. The ones you find that are a perfect fit but never call you or you go for the interview and you think it went great but then nothing happens. It’s those moments where we try and force opportunities or we expect them to happen that reminds me a lot of life.
How many times did we expect the person we dated would be the one? How many times did we believe that certain moments in our life should've turned out a certain way, but they didn’t?
It’s a very human thing to get hooked on the what if and should have beens.
But most of the process is just by chance.
Everything really is just by chance and that's all we can take from it.
I personally no longer want to find the "deeper meaning" in every chance because I know if there was a deeper meaning for why I didn't get the job or why that relationship didn't work out, it will become clear in due time.

“I think the earliest practices around spirituality and religion, probably involved the ingestion of psychedelic plants. So when I “dialed in” to that, when I go into that experience, it feels like I’m connecting to something that is very ancient, and actually very fundamental to be a human and to be alive.”

“The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.”
