large eyes nearly roll at the sight of him coming towards her. she can already
sense the stench of how much he didn’t want her there. if it meant that
much to him, he could leave of all things. she was there first, afterall. but
this wasn’t the moment for child’s play. they were obviously both for a
reason; and that reason being a case, so she’d mentally - though he
wouldn’t hear - suggest that he’d knock it off. gesturing towards the covered
body, a singular brow arches.
“another heart ripped straight from the body. they think it’s an
animal attack, but they can’t wrap their heads around on how
an animal this wild got inside. but obviously it had a little fun
before going for the kill. doesn’t quite add up at all, but the
neighbors have claimed to have not seen or heard anything
at all.”
from there, she gives a shrug and glances up to the male. expression
emotionless though eyes were nearly taunting in a way she couldn’t help.
he continues to reek in the same way and it’s nauseating her.
“might just search the house for further evidence. see if
there’s anything else we don’t know but should.”
&& now she wanted to boss him around. not something that surprised
him but was, nevertheless, annoying as all hell. a hand moves to rub
the tired from his eyes, as the drive here was long, but it was truly just
so he wouldn't feel the need to slap her upside the head. it was bad
enough having to work with his little brother, but add a cocky huntress
to the mix and he might as well be sent to hell again. there was just
something about working with others than the winchester absolutely
hated. most likely because he was screwed over by 'hunters' more
than once. funny stories, but stolen cases weren't exactly his forte.
‘ sounds like you've got it all figured out. would
you like for me to step out on this one ? if not,
we're going to need to compare notes and try
to catch this killer. it's obvious that they're going
to keep killing until they're caught. no wild animal
could have done this, unless someone is sicking
wild dogs on store owners.. which makes no sense. ’
the hunter wasn't really sure what to make of this, but he still wouldn't
let up on the bad vibes that she seemed to be catching up on. her eyes,
looking at him with her professional tone, told him that she was just as
pissed as him, so maybe this would be a double negative and end up
cancelling each other out. if he found another partner, that was cute &
fuckable, then he would throw his brother under the bus in a heartbeat.
