We have to acknowledge that like all others, we are finite beings. We only have as much time as everyone else is given. While the idea of pushing through our limits is highly encouraged, we can only do what we can with what we have. Please let us not resort to abandoning our priorities for the sake of belongingness. We first belong to ourselves before we belong to a community.

Spread your wings, fly high!

Even if I'm torn apart,

For your freedom's sake.

The Black Swan appeared,

It turned the world upside down,

But I'm a hydra.

When it rains, it pours.

Drowned them with my love; they die,

An overwhelming love.

I am a cactus,

Nobody wants to pick me,

I'll only hurt them.

Protect what is dear,

Cherish the present moment,

Love yourself the most.

Antifragile hearts,

Fueled by disheartenments,

Hardened by ordeals.

Again and again,

Chances slip through my fingers,

'Till my next mistake.

You were once a dream,

A dream turned into nightmare,

Will I dream again?

Why do I like you?

How can you stay in my thoughts?

Can you release me?

Time stands still for me-

Days pass by but I remain,

Living in the past,

Swirling and twirling,

Movements graceful and gentle,

Trod strong, forge ahead.

Shedding tears of blood-

Can the tears turn into pearls?

Pure, bright and gorgeous.
