“I should’ve went to sleep earlier last night..I’m so tired right now..” Right after Rinny said that she accidentally started to lay over on the bench and started to drift off into a light slumber. Mi was currently doing the same thing just under the bench that Rinny was sitting on.

“I’ll remember your name as well.” She murmured softly. “Okay..Again, thank you so much for this…! Wait here? Okay. I’ll wait right here.” She grinned and then tapped her chin for just a moment at his question. “I like raspberry iced tea with a little extra sugar. It’s my favorite.” That had been her favorite since she was really little.

She nodded her head and gave him a bright smile. “Take your time. I wont go anywhere. I’ll be right here when you get back.” She wanted to say thank you again but she didn’t want to be annoying by saying it too much. Once he walked off Rinny started humming to pass the time until he got back. She was humming the lullaby that her mom would sing to her when she was little. She would continue to hum until he returned.

【✎】It took like ten minutes, but Zion finally managed to get her raspberry iced tea. He honestly wasn’t sure what size she wanted, so he ended up buying two medium-sized cups. The redhead did his best to hurry over to her as soon as possible, happily seeing her waiting for him as he paced faster. “I-I got what you wanted, Rinny..! S-sorry for taking a while..!”

When he finally got to her, he sat beside the blind one, realizing she was humming something that sounded soothing. Zion then handed her drink to her hand until she got a grip of it. “I… I wasn’t sure what kind of size you wanted.. so I ended up buying two medium-sized cups. Hope you don’t mind.. By the way.. what was that song you were humming earlier..?”

Rinny was still happily humming when he returned, though she did jump just a little bit when he spoke. She finally stopped humming once he sat down beside her and handed her the cup. “A-Ah! Thank you so much, Zion!” She gave him a bright smile. “No no it’s fine! Was there a long line?”

She then slowly brought the cup up to her mouth and took a sip from it. She then grinned happily. It was so good. “Oh! Sorry..That was my fault because I forgot to tell you but you got the cup size right. I usually get a medium because I can never drink all that’s in the large and a small doesn’t have enough...So..I don’t mind at all!” She giggled softly. “Eh? Song? Oh..It was a lullaby that my mom used to sing to me when I was little..It would always calm me down if I was scared or it would just help me go to sleep..Now I just hum it because it’s nice and relaxing..” She tapped her chin for a moment with her free hand. “I can’t seem to remember the name of the lullaby..I’ll have to ask Mom about that later..”

“Well..That is true but there are some people out there that don’t want to be considerate..” She shrugged her shoulders “I completely understand. I don’t like to er..Well..I don’t exactly see people cry but..I’m the same way but I hear them cry instead of see them cry..” She rubbed the back of her neck. She hoped that he understood what she meant. “No. It isn’t wrong to help.” She said, smiling once again.

She then let out another small laugh. “It’s fine.” She said, a light blush dusting her cheeks now. “A-Ah. Thank you..” And there was her nervous stutter again. “A-Are you sure? Well..Okay then. Thank you so much!” He was so nice. “Zion Kanda..That’s a nice name. Oh! I forgot to say my surname. Ah hah hah. My bad. It’s Yosano. So my fully name is Rinny Yosano!” She let out a quiet giggle. “It’s nice to meet you as well, Zion.”

I’ll remember that name.” This was his first time actually talking to a blind person, and he was quite happy to meet someone nice like her. “All right.. l-let me get your tea.. you can wait here. I promise I won’t leave ya behind.” Before he took off, he almost forgot something important. “O-oh..! Right.. Wh-what kind of tea would you like..? Any specifications..?”

As soon as he took note of what she wanted, Zion gave her his regards. “Alright… I’ll be right back.. don’t leave.. okay..?” The redhead then instinctively waved goodbye, heading straight to the tea shop. The line was pretty long, concerning Zion as he tapped his feet. Hopefully the line wouldn’t take so long.

@xvisionless sees more than a shadow

     the sight of a large akita bounding towards bastien is quite the comical scene for a spectator; for bastien, it’s somewhat terrifying, and he can’t help the alarmed yelp that escapes him as the canine jumps on him, knocking him to the ground in the process; slobber coats his cheeks in seconds. the ravenette attempts to roll over and away, but the dog’s relentless in its unwanted affection. bastien being bastien, he resorts to yelling profanities at the poor thing.

     to say the least, he’s not a happy camper.

Mi had done it again. She had gotten away from her and ran off. Rinny let out an exasperated sigh. Where could that dog have gone to now? “Mi! Where’d you go off to now? Come back!” She yelled, hoping that Mi would hear her. When she heard no barking she pouted and pulled her cane out of her bag and quickly unfolded it before she began to walk once more. Hopefully she would come across Mi somewhere. As she walked she suddenly heard yelling and then she heard a dog whining.She knew that whine anywhere. It was Mi’s ‘I want attention’ whine. She sighed before quickly and carefully made her way to where she heard the yelling and Mi’s whining coming from. Once she made it there she whistled to get Mi’s attention.

“Mi! Come here.” She heard Mi whine once more but then she heard the dog make her way over to her. She folded up her cane and stuffed it back into her bag and then she felt the air around her, trying to find the handle that was connected to Mi’s harness. She smiled when her hand finally found the handle. “You’ve got to stop running off like that Mi. You know better..” All Mi did was whine yet again and that made Rinny sigh. She then remembered that she probably needed to apologize to someone because Mi probably bothered them or something. “U-Um..I’m s-sorry if my dog bothered you..”

“W-Well sometimes people don’t see my cane..? I d-don’t really know..” She bit her lip for a moment and fiddled with her thumbs once again. “Feel bad for me..? Ah! Don’t feel bad! I’m totally fine..There’s no need for you to feel bad.” She said quickly, shaking her head. 

“…I feel like I am..Just a little.” Ma’am? “M-Ma’am? I-I’m only seventeen.” She tried not to laugh but she couldn’t hold it in so she just started laughing a little bit. “W-Well if you insist on buying my tea then I guess that’s fine..But I will pay you back for it.” She smiled brightly. “Y-Yeah…Thank you for that.” After a moment she realized that she didn’t even know his name but then again she didn’t introduce herself either. “Oh! I didn’t even introduce myself. My name is Rinny. What’s your name?”

Zion wasn’t so sure, but he considered saying that as a compliment. “Y-you really don’t have to pay me back… it’s fine.” When she introduced her name, the redhead cleared his throat. “It’s.. ah.. Zion… Zion Kanda.. Nice to meet you, Rinny..”

Rinny sighed and wiped at her eyes one more time before putting her handkerchief back into her bag. “That’s true and I can understand that because I can be impatient sometimes too but I mean..Its still upsetting.” She murmured, fiddling with her thumbs. “Maybe the people didn’t realize I’m blind..? I don’t know.” She sighed once again. 

“Eh..? Get me my tea..?” She gave a small smile and shook her head. “I don’t want to seem like I would be imposing..I have the money for my tea in my wallet…Or at least I think I have the right amount in there..? I honestly can’t tell being that I cannot see.” She pouted.

You had your cane with you and all..” Maybe people didn’t realize it, though even Zion might not be able to figure it out if he were in that situation. “Well.. regardless.. I do feel bad for you.. so I don’t mind helping you out, or at least turn that frown upside down.”

Zion shook his hands around as though she could see that. “Y-you’re not imposing at all, ma’am..! I really don’t mind paying something like tea.. you can save your money for something else, if anything..” The redhead couldn’t help but smile at the ravenette’s smile. “At least I got to cheer you up a little..”
