Yuzuru’s new exhibition programme.  So beautiful that I feel like crying….. 

(He has said many times from younger days that the 2 skaters he looks up to are Plushenko and Johnny Weir.  This could be a tribute to Johnny who used this music in 2006.)

Update: According to the Japanese article below, Yuzuru was approached by Tatiana Tarasova at the Worlds this April, saying that there is a piece of music that she would like Yuzuru to perform with. Later, she sent him a CD containing this piece of music.  

Yuzuru expressed his appreciation to Tarasova, as follows: “I felt extremely pleased to be approached by her. Having been inspired by the rivalry between Plushenko and Yagudin, I got seriously involved into figure skating with a view to winning an Olympic gold medal. It was such a honour to be directly given a piece of music by the ‘master’ who coached the competitor who won the Salt Lake City Olympics.” (i.e. Yagudin in 2002)

‘Notte Stellata’ obviously has the same theme of a swan as the ‘White Legend’ which was Yuzuru’s gala for the season during which the Great East Japan Earthquake took place (in 2011). When Yuzuru heard this music for the first time, he felt 'something coming up from deep within his heart/mind’.  But different from the time of ‘White Legend’ which had the image of taking flight, for this he wants to express ‘the feeling of wrapping everything in gently and moving forward’.
