After not really being on here for a really long time and holyyyyy molyyyyyy... the things i had NO CLUE about. or the experiences i had never had.

that’s so crazy, you know. I thought i knew so much and had experienced a lot but so much has happened since i was a sophomore in college. So weird. So crazy.

I just Instagram crept on the only boy who has ever made me feel like I had worth and my entire heart just broke all over again. I have to stop.

So a weird thing happened today and I don't know why I'm coming here to talk about it but... life is just crazy. 4 years ago today I got my acceptance letter to my dream school- well, my dream school if I wanted to go to college. I still fought and was outraged to be going to university (I'm annoying, I know) but I ended up going. I had no clue what I wanted to do and was FOR SURE in over my head, but I ended up going. I went into a program I didn't know too much about and was so incredibly awkward, but I went. The first year came and went. I was going through a ton of personal stuff at the time and life was hard. I thought I had the best group of friends and I never thought I'd lose most of them but I did. After both fall and spring semesters I considered transferring schools, but I stayed. The second year came and it was the hardest thing I've ever experienced in my life. I felt so betrayed and so damn sad all the time. It was crazy, but I found home in my program and held tight. The third year came and I was growing so much professionally and personally- I couldn't believe it. I was so busy and caught up in my work, but I was loving it. Now, it's the forth year and I'm not 100% confident in my work, but I love what I'm doing and my friends and how I've turned out personally and professionally. I'm just really excited. But, I am incredibly nervous about what the next few months hold. I can't be on the job hunt- that's too... permanent and I'm not ready to be done with school, but I only applied to one really competitive masters program, so who knows. Well, today, EXACTLY 4 years after getting the first letter to my dream university, I got my acceptance email from my dream master's program. IM GOING TO GRAD SCHOOL, YALL! I don't have to be a real grown up yet!!! I've never been so relieved and excited before in my life. It's gonna be the hardest academic 10 months of my life, for sure, but I'm so proud of myself. Who knew I'd make it this far?! Not me, really. But I'm so happy and thankful for the best professors in the nation, the most caring and thoughtful friends, and the mindset I've grown to have. Wow. I'm just so happy. Life works in the weirdest ways.

A snow day led me here again and WOW, I haven't used this in forever. Y'all, my life is so crazy. Truly lol. I've learned so much since I've quit using Tumblr, saw so much more of the world, fell in love, was crushed by the same boys and fell out of love, ended toxic friends, strengthened the friendships with the genuine people in my life, am entering my last semester of undergrad, and am applying to grad schools. Who knew that when I was crying about school and life every 2 seconds 3 years ago that I would be really content with where I am in life and that I would LOVE school. Life is crazy, y'all. I love it.
