Johnny Hardwick, voice of Dale Gribble on ‘King of the Hill,’ dead at 64

Voice actor Johnny Hardwick, who was best known as the voice of Dale Gribble on “King of the Hill,” died Tuesday at the age of 64.

Extremely sad news, fam. Johnny Hardwick was easily one of my favorite aspects of one of my favorite shows— I probably still would have loved Dale if he had another voice actor but Hardwick really made him his own. Truly a hilarious and gifted actor, he’ll be sorely missed.
