A bit of Titan x Ganymede
Today's chapter honestly left me totally emotional 😁 seeing Saturn get more screen time, along with Uranus and Neptune.
And not to mention that Titan doesn't know who Chrysalis is that left me totally confused 🤔 since he was the one who caused her death.
My baby is hiding something 👀
Ganymede had a Sita
If you hate him, why do you let him, Titan? 😐
I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! 😭💫
I just read the SolarBalls announcement and I'm literally freaking out. After everything that happened with the rogue planets, seeing the solar system go back to normal feels like a breath of relief, but at the same time I know this is just the beginning of something much bigger.
What I'm most excited about is the Chrysalis Arc. We're finally going to find out about her! And even if it's short, I'm sure it's going to be one of those arcs that leave your heart in pieces. I'm so curious about what Chrysalis is like. Is she going to be a sad character? Someone with a complicated past? Maybe someone who had to sacrifice herself? I need to see her personality, how she interacts with Saturn... I just need to see it all.
And that's not all: after that, we'll get more classic episodes, with that old-school vibe I've missed so much, until we finally get to the Astrodude Movie (I can't wait!). But what really gets me hyped is what comes after the movie: the return of one of the series' biggest antagonists. Who could it be? Honestly, I doubt it's Ganymede, Europa, or Titan... and definitely not Planet X, since he's not a villain anymore. So... could it be someone completely new that we never even imagined
I love Astrodude's family, although I always wonder if his son has a disability. I don't think he's ever mentioned it in the few episodes he's appeared in. It would be fun if they explored it further.
It's curious how Titan's personality changed since Earth said his famous Grace
I'm a little alive yay
but I doubt I'll be here for long
here you go tuna and some Titan with haiiiirrrwuerreer
Your art is beautiful ✨
Hello again! Here are a few crumbs of what I've been working on lately, just so I don't let this account go completely dead. I hope you guys don't think I'm obsessed with this characte
In fact, I have several plans to make.
Just in case anyone asks: some of these drawings were done on different days. I mention this because of the shift in style I'm currently undergoing—for instance, drawings 7, 2, and 3 are a bit older, while the others are recent. That said, I just can't seem to give up the white backgrounds—good grief! I really need to improve in that area.
Warning📢 Ganymede x Titan x Europa
i finally did this
sorry ive been at school these days>.<
I think it's a good tutorial if you don't want to overthink your clothes so much. It's great, keep it up with your style, I love it.👍✨
I'm gonna say this because I'm tired. What did they do with Titan in SolarBalls? They introduced him, gave him a couple minutes of glory, hinted that he had potential... and then they erased him from the map. His development was so poor I can't even call it development. It was more like a sketch, an idea they never finished.
The character needs an episode where he actually evolves. Where we see him face his fears, make decisions, change. No more pointless cameos. No more "oh yeah Titan exists" every 20 episodes.
And I see no one talks about this: okay, Titan treated other characters badly. He kidnapped Astrodude, he was in the Lunar Revolution, etc. But that's exactly why they could give him a redemption episode where he learns from his mistakes again... if he even learned anything, because honestly you can't tell. But no. He's just there in the background or has few lines.
And what makes me even more angry? I suspect they keep him like that on purpose so "Titan haters don't get frustrated". Like they care. Instead of giving him a well-written arc where he redeems himself, they'd rather keep him frozen. No purpose. Just to not upset a group of fans. That's lazy and cowardly.
But whatever. He ended up being a background character. A decoration. And you can tell they're not even trying anymore. If you don't care about the character, just say it. But no. They'd rather leave him there doing nothing while others take all the spotlight.
It's frustrating because Titan could give so much more. He needs a redemption episode where he faces his mistakes and truly learns.
What do you guys think? Do you think Titan needs a redemption arc or is it over for him?
TRUEEEEUUHH!!! it’s quite Strange that titan’s development has been sidelined when they’ve introduced some very interesting ideas for him IMHO. out of the hundreds of moons in the solar system, titan is the ONLY moon that receives such blatant favoritism from their planet, and you can see how this shapes his actions and beliefs in the show.
i get the impression that saturn never really saw titan past being his trophy, and if that’s true, then he’s probably been lonely all his life. the other saturnians resent him for his position of privilege which has been well-established in the show. i also believe his upbringing caused him to subconsciously expect special treatment in his leadership position, thus coming off as self-entitled and arrogant at times. (though not AS blatant compared to ganymede and earth) ganymede even RECOGNIZES that titan’s actions are motivated by ego at the end of the moon revolution saga. his isolation and self-entitlement amalgamates into his desire for approval and obsession with being In The Right which causes issues with himself and the other moons. i do think titan was being genuine in his goal to change the status quo but his ego derails his original intentions which is exactly why i find him so interesting!!
solarballs sets up such an interesting internal conflict for titan and then puts his character in the back burner for like 200 years………. like you’ve mentioned, i do want to see titan take accountability for his actions and grow into a better version of himself because he’s done some…..downright Unethical things! i hope the upcoming saturn arc not only develops titan’s character but fleshes out saturn and the other saturnians too.
I completely agree with you. I read everything you wrote, and yes, that's exactly it. Titan is a truly interesting character because of all the internal conflicts he was subjected to from the very beginning. Saturn seeing him only as a trophy, the other Saturnians hating him for his privileges, his ego, his obsession with being right... All of that was there to build something great. But they let him die. And I think there's a reason for that: SolarBalls is afraid of Titan. They dream big, but they think. Titan is a complex character. He did bad things, he has nuances, he's not a perfect hero nor an easily hated villain. These kinds of characters are difficult to write because they don't easily fit into stereotypes. So, instead of putting in the effort, they prefer to keep him frozen. Doing nothing. So they don't have to deal with him. Seriously, I'm just asking for one episode. One where Titan reflects, where he confronts what he did, where he apologizes if necessary, or shows that he's changed. But no. They prefer to stick with the same old characters and leave Titan gathering dust.😭

¡Sigo vivaa!!
Sorry for the lack of activity, even though Treo only played for two weeks 😅
I have so much to do, God, school is a nightmare, but anyway, here are today's doodles. I can't deny I'm obsessed with this coupleI hope there's more interaction between these three characters.
Apologies for suddenly disappearing yet again, a bit happened that dragged me down but we're back on track! Here's another little sneak peek of Gany's section that is already finished. Keeping that in mind, we're at ca. 90 pages and I didn't even add the Luna fanarts and fics yet.. and there's a TON of those. 😅
God is Ganymede, he looks so cute 🤩
A somewhat stupid question for the Solarballs characters, could astronomy books for them be considered the equivalent of anatomy books or adult magazines?🤔
Because I think they might be, since they describe their bodies and include detailed diagrams about them, both inside and out. For them, it would be a taboo subject. Just imagine how funny it would be to see one of their characters react that way to one of these books.
I said it in a humorous way, okay, because I needed to get that doubt off my chest and share it with you guys And see his hope :)
