Day Eleven, Run Eleven
I did it, I ran for a total of sixteen minutes. Twice for five minutes and twice for three minutes.
I felt dead afterwards and my stomach kept flipping and i was covered head to toe in sweat.
But I did it.
I think I’ll keep to the week four running schedule until the Monday after next. I don’t yet feel ready for week five. So, this next week will be just getting used to running for sixteen minutes.
Wish me luck.
Until next time, Over and Out.
Day Ten, Run Ten
Well, week four. We have some things to talk about.
I can run for five minutes, you didn’t overestimate me there. I cannot yet however run for five minutes twice.
I had to stop a minute early on the last running segment of this run. My stomach did a triple somersault and pirouette in protest. I am very close to being able to run those two five minute segments.
Game on, week four, game on.
Over and out.
Runs Eight and Nine
Running for three minutes has changed from pretty uncomfortable to only mildly uncomfortable for my last two runs.
Tomorrow, I get to run for five whole minutes. I am either going to feel like death afterwards or it will feel like three minutes felt at the beginning of this journey.
It’s also just occurred to me that this next run marks the beginning of week four. I’ve stuck with this program for three whole weeks. I feel proud and terrified all at once. I can only push myself to keep to the schedule and watch as my body changes to accommodate my new lifestyle choices.

Day Seven, Run Seven
I can run for three whole minutes multiple times without feeling like I’m dying.
Who knew? It feels so good to be able to do this, I’m finding I can go up and intensity level and not fail. I know a failure or a mistake will come at some point, but right now it’s amazing that I’m succeeding.
Even if it is just for three minutes.
Day Six, Run Six
I can still run for a minute and a half and on Wednesday I get to run for three minutes. While I’m proud of how far I’ve come, I’m pretty sure that I’m going to feel awful after my run on Wednesday.
Also, Legally Blonde’s song ‘So Much Better’ is an amazing thing to listen to at the end of a run. Realizing that you’re better than before is elating.
Over and out.
Day Five, Run Five
I can now run for a solid minute and a half.
I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it feels like a long time and at the end of it I feel like I could take on the world.
Running for a straight half hour still seems very far away, though. I guess I’ll just keep going.
Over and out
Day Four, Run Four
Today was the beginning of the second week of my C25K program and I was terrified. I was scared I wouldn’t be good enough to actually do what the program wanted me to do.
But I did it.
I completed the run exactly as it was supposed to be completed and I feel great. I know that I can do the week two work outs and I will go into the next levels of running with a bit more confidence.
Day Three, Run Three
Third run, it wasn’t too bad. I actually can’t wait for the next level of running since this one felt fairly easy.
Movie and video game music helps immensely. When I run, I just let my imagination go and then before I know it the run is over.

Day Two, Run Two
Yeah, I know a missed a day.
But this run was actually nice. The half hour flew by and I didn’t even have to coax myself to finish it.
I did, however, find out I need a new sports bra. My back is going to ache later.
Next run is Monday, still in week one of training.
But for right now, I’m soaked and feel like a shower is in order.
Over and out.
