In honor of the conclusion of the Englsh translation of The King’s Avatar, I have also translated this reflective Weibo post from Butterfly Blue, posted on Ye Xiu’s birthday a few years after the novel’s initial completion. It is, I think, a good reflection and analysis of Ye Xiu. Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to grab the direct link to the original, but if anyone can, I would be very grateful.
