and if you catch her off guard, she actually laughs very easily ... also she’s a big foodie, she loves eating and normally she’s snacking during her intense study sessions.

xythra has so much pride in her work that it’s unbelievable to see her always being so diligent and hardworking even after being up for days on end. people wonder how she does it, really but it’s honestly a mystery and sometimes people make jokes about her not being human. but no, she’s just a very very hard working girl because she wants nothing but to live above and beyond the expectations her family’s role has placed on her shoulders. 

and the fact that she does, she’s at least happy that she is doing what she loves and it’s researching, learning, and fighting for those she can save and has yet to save. 

also in her ending alone, she is noted to be one of the best tacticians of her time and was the longest standing one of her household. she pushed the bars for the pursuit of knowledge as well as being one of the most devoted for the royal family. when she dies, she leaves all her research in the hands of the royal family of faerghus and is remembered as a loving, fierce, dedicated, and knowledgeable woman.

‘Ever so diligent…’ Dimitri thinks to himself, just as Xythra breaks from her stupor upon his appearance. The sight itself is almost a shock for him, having grown accustomed to her quiet company – both in the kingdom and as a student at the monastery. Though, it’s seldom an unwelcome thing, and more of a nice surprise. But that surprise fizzles away through a bow of her head, and an apology on her tongue, all to which Dimitri simply shakes his head – a kind smile gracing his mien.

     “No, please – if you were busy, then I’m the one who should be the one apologizing, Xythra. It wasn’t my intention to disturb you.”

And how true it was – he didn’t expect a response to begin with. Gentle eyes do spark with displeasure, however, hearing his title more than once. Dimitri simply sighs, and takes the opportunity to busy himself by striding toward the weapon maintenance supplies – his voice following after. “Well, yes – I was,” he says, eyes skimming through the middle shelf, before grabbing a cleaning oil and a cloth, “though, I’m sure I’ve told you before that there isn’t any need to call me by my title when we’re here at the monastery.”

❛   far from it, in fact.   ❜   naturally, dimitri was one of the few people she could easily focus around. he wasn’t the rowdy type nor was he the type to go out of his way to make sure his presence was known. she respected that, and ... as mentioned before, has caused her to completely dismiss him.    ❛   as someone who will soon rise to work alongside you when you ascend to the throne, it has grown to be ... a rather ruthless habit. i apologize if i’ve yet to grow accustomed to speaking your name without formality ... d - .... dimitri.   ❜   the fact that she managed to ... painfully utter it was a start, yes? but the tone in her voice through gritted teeth made it sound as if she was ready to scold herself. 

watching as he strolled past her towards the supplies utilized for weapon maintenance, xythra tilted her head in wonder ... was he on maintenance duty this week? but she shook her head at the thought, the pages glisten gently as her eyes return to the page, scanning the runes.   ❛   there’s no need to apologize either, i was merely attempting to hone casting a certain rune.   ❜   with a slightly troubled glance at one of the targets that seemed to have been scorched and splintered.    ❛   i’ve ... come to notice it was a bit too strong.   ❜

normally you would have access to the runic master class at a high level support with xythra; however, if you don’t do her paralogue before post timeskip, in the blue lions’ route when retaking the kingdom’s captial, cornelia will have a special item and that item is labeled as ‘ the book of xythra ‘ which is literally her life’s work, all the spells, deconstruction of spell circles, the methods and formulas of forming new spell circles and the purpose of each symbol within them, all her runic spells and conjurations are in that book. that is how you’ll gain the runic masters class if you fail to do her paralogue. so yes, stacy, she’s executed by cornelia.

𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐄 𝐇𝐄'𝐃 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒 her attentiveness the moment he stepped onto the training grounds. normally, xythra was always one to ignore or even dismiss others from her vicinity due to her insatiable and hard - focused studying, and sometimes she may or may not have done this to dimitri in the past when they first came to the officers’ academy to the point where dedue had addressed this behavior in private. and as much as xythra, at first, failed to take note each and every time she had sent someone off that it gave off a rather unpleasant sign to others.

but xythra could feel the presence of another in her vicinity as she continued to draw an obscure sigil with the light following her fingertips, and from her lips came an even more curious language,   ❛   wunjo.   ❜   and with a subtle spark, her fingertips were coated in the very light that chased her digits. that presence is still there, she thought to herself. and frankly, truth be told, she was getting annoyed.    ❛   if you aren’t going to make your presence known at least have the courtesy of doing such in another area.   ❜

she is the bearer of the minor crest of timotheos whose house that bears it are long devoted tacticians to the royal family of faerghus. xythra is a young woman who at a young age developed her own form of magic that she calls runic magic and attends the officers’ academy alongside the blue lions in pursuit of bettering her magical and tactical knowledge to help ensure the future of the kingdom’s endeavors.
