I think we need to have a real nuanced talk about censorship of drs on tumblr of all places gang gang- tumblr of all places is a place for dark and weird shit so if people wanna talk about their weird and dark drs, just block them bro like you're literally making yourself mad and making drama in the community and accomplishing nothing because guess what? shaming people for their drs isn't going to stop them from shifting to it and if your point is to shame them into stop talking about it, that's opening up a whole can of worms that allows everyone to be targeted.

i honestly believe that the policing of people’s dr no matter what they are is why the shiftblr community is overrun and oversaturated with the same advice posts because that’s easily digestible and you dont have to actually think about it and can just reread the same thing over and over unlike people sharing about their drs because they aren’t pandering to you for likes and reblogs, they’re sharing a vulnerable part of themselves to connect with others

I'm finally working on my BrBa dr script and the hardest part is deciding whether to shift to the BCS timeline or the brba timeline

Because, man, I want to meet Nacho, Lalo, Jimmy before he became Saul, and Kim and just being there before everything really goes downhill

I'm so glad I discovered shifting because my DR house is the house I've always wanted, like an old lady's house that smells of rose incense and cigarettes

I remember when I was little, going to my neighbor's house, which smelled like that, and thinking "I wish I had a house like that" and now I do!!

My dr isn't controversial on its own (fame dr) but I guess what's controversial about my dr is my relationship which is pretty toxic and it's an obsessive love. Plus, I'm 19 and he's 36

This also seems to be controversial for some reason but I didn’t script out my trauma (and maybe I exaggerated it a bit in my script because I’m an attention seeker)

It’s my favorite dr and I’ve already shifted there several times and ironically it’s where I feel most comfortable 😭 but I’m a little scared to talk about my experiences in my dr because I don’t want to get flamed

im sure you're being bombarded with asks about the current drama. hopefully i can distract you from it all for just a little 💗

my confession is that i think there are not enough "weird" drs. i know they exist, but personally whenever i see another harry potter dr, a fame dr, or a dr based on an anime, shiftblr just feels sorta boring. people say there are so many weirdos on shiftblr, yet i never see any! where are they? im nosey! 😩

obviously, shift wherever you want! who really cares? but today i am entitled and incredibly self-centered. i want to see the non-aesthetic drs. that girl with the cult dr? it's strange, but it's interesting and it's exploring an idea that others are too afraid to touch. in my opinion, people reacted so harshly to it, but i can understand why. drs based on dark fic or proshipper tropes, kinky pornographic drs, drs based on horror games, being the villain in your dr, horrible or problematic s/os... i love them all. 🤩

i saw a shifter with jimmy from mouthwashing as their boyfriend and while i don't get it at all, it's different! he's an awful person, but that shifter likes him for whatever possible reason.

i like reading those scripts among the hundreds of pretty blogs that are safe and have a blonde pop star as their face claim. they're so rare. 💔🥀 i wish we could see more strange drs that weren't just someone ragebaiting with a racist "slave" dr. i understand that it's because most people want to shift to somewhere comfortable, and when you post those unique drs people are going to make the "oh my god! 😳 i can't believe somebody has a ___ dr! 🤮 how gross/weird/awful!" then it turns into gossip, and then the person with the controversial dr has to deactivate. 😒 people care too much about what's morally right, even if what they're doing isn't even breaking any actual social rules, when they quite literally have the entire multiverse in their hands!
