off topic to the absolutely amazing and brilliant new game changer ep, but i just have to say how much i loved hearing jiavani and demi be referred to as she/him and he/they, respectively, so naturally by sam and the cast. i don't think we'll see mainstream media refer to, let alone cast, genderqueer and gnc people with such normalacy.

obviously they have been referred to correctly on other shows but the constant uses of pronouns in the "count the rice" song just made it really prominent. idk im just so happy

I've been on a Vox Machina kick, obviously, so when I saw this musician pose I immediately went "eyyy, Scanlan!"

The body at this angle was a LOT of fun to figure out. I ran into some hiccups trying to scale the model's proportions down to gnome size, but I think I got there in the end!

It's fun when the robot character in the sci-fi show gets cut in half because nobody working on this type of media knows anything about robotics and you never know what you're going to find inside. Green printed circuit boards? Meat and viscera, but like in a weird colour? Just a shitload of goo?

I especially like it when the robot appears to have realistic musculature which operates via contraction, suggesting some sort of fluid-driven or shape-memory-based actuation, and then it gets dismembered and a bunch of random gears and sprockets go flying everywhere.
