Sienna and the reader were standing by Sienna's locker. The reader leaned against the locker, waiting for Sienna.
“You know, you should come have a sleepover at my house tonight.” Said Sienna as she closes her locker, it's making a small screech. “MMH I don’t know, my dad doesn’t let me go out, especially at night.” Reader replied. “Asked him it won’t hurt. And Sara and the other girl are coming. You need more friends” Sara said as walked toward their classes while reader following behind quietly.
Yeah, I guess so.” Said reader quietly, still in her thoughts of what her dad might say.
Sienna, seeing that her friend is somewhere else. “If he says no, then tomorrow we go get milkshakes and do something?” Said sienna, trying to cheer the girl up.
“Mmh that sounds nice, and I guess so.” Replied reader.
As they both went quiet, both in their own thoughts- “oh, this is my class, I’ll call you later if he says yes.” Reader said as she stops at the door of her classroom.
“Oh, okay, talk to you later.” Sienna replied, waving goodbye to reader. As the reader walks into the chaotic classroom. Reader looking around the room seeing some kids talking with their friends, some trying to study, some just waiting for the school year-end. As she walks towards her desk, she hears people whisper behind her. She had a rumour that her mom is in a psych ward. Which is true, she never met her mom. Her dad said she got sick after the reader was born, and she wonders if it was because of her. A lot of people call her a psychopath, which makes no sense, but it’s high school so it’s not supposed to. As she sits down Mr. James her teacher walks into the classroom, everyone goes silent and silently gravitates toward their seats and waits for him to start class. “Okay everyone, today we are going to pick up where we left off.” Mr. James says as he sits in his chair and opens his history book. 50 minutes later. Napoleon would deliberately choose hot, cramped rooms for diplomatic meetings, so his opponents would become impatient and sweaty while he stayed calm and in control-Mr. James getting cut off by the bell, “Okay everyone have a good weekend and make sure to do that assignment. As reader starts getting her books ready, she looks around and sees people talking with their friends. She wishes she had friends like that she did have, Sienna and Sara, but she was kind of different from them. As the reader leaves the class and walks out to the hallway, she hears a bunch of different voices and different conversations. As she walks through the hallway, someone bumps into her, making her stumble back a little bit. “Shit, I’m sorry, Didn’t see you there.” Someone said as she looked towards, seeing a long-haired brunette boy looking concerned. “Oh it’s okay” the reader replied as she dusted off her clothes a little bit. Are you sure?” The brunette boy said as he scratched the back of his head. “I hit you kind of hard.”
“Yeah, I’m okay. Thank you though.” Reader replied she started to walk away trying to just go home. The brunette kind of confused why wouldn’t she get mad at him or even embarrassed as he watches her leave he shakes his head embarrassed of what he just did.
As reader walks though the school doors she looks around trying to see if her dad is waiting for her. As she walks down the walkway she spots her dad’s car smiling at the find. The reader runs up to the car knocking on the window surprising her dad. As he unlocks the door he is surprised to see the girl smiling happily most times she either looks sad or just neutral. As she gets in “why you smiling so much more than usual?” He says happily seeing his daughter happy finally. “Well you’re picking me up and I don’t have to go on that annoying bus and it’s the weekend!”Reader excited as she graves her seatbelt and bulks in.
“Mmh well I’m happy for you and we have to go to the store.” D/n said as he starts the car.
After a while they are finally home reader was holding some groceries and while her dad was fiddling with the door. “Dad you think it’s going to rain?” reader said while looking up at the sky.
“I don’t think so.” D/n replied finally unlocking the door.
It was now the evening pacifically 4:30pm as reader was in her room on her bed contemplating if she should ask her dad or just sneak out. “I can ask him right now it’s not two late or I can sneak out? I mean I have snuck out before but I might get in trouble.” Reader thought while biting her lip. She didn’t wanna get in trouble, her and her dad have a good relationship she doesn’t wanna ruin it or make him not trust her anymore. “As reader got up she heard her dad yell from down stairs saying “Honey Sienna is on the phone”. “Okay dad thank you.” Reader yelled back, as she got up from her bed garbed the landline and said, “Hey Sienna!”. “Hiii! What did your dad say?” She replied eager to know. “Well I didn’t ask I’m scared too and- she got cut off by Sienna saying “just ask him or sneak out”. “That’s what I’m thinking but I don’t know I get back home? it might rain my dad said.” Replied reader while looking out of the window seeing some clouds.
“Mmh then we just figure that out if it happens, okay I’ll tell you how to get here so you live in southward right? You know the power lines that go up the hill? That’s Chesapake road I’m right there.” “Oh thats easy, well I have to go it’s almost super time.” Reader said as she looks over at her clock on the wall. “Well bye see you later if you come.” Said Sienna happy that her friend might come. As they both say their good byes reader goes down stairs and see her father putting plates down. “Dad I’ll help you.” Said reader as she graves the plates out of his hand and puts them down. “Well thank you.” Replied D/n.
After supper they were getting ready for bed her dad on the couch and reader was brushing her teeth in the bathroom. “Good night dad” reader said as she walks out of the bathroom. “Good night honey.” He replied as his eyes clued to the tv. “As reader walks down the hall she walks over to a shelf making sure her dad is still watching the tv, she scans through the shelf trying to find a screwdriver she finally find it in a old paint bucket as she graves it and puts it in her cardigan she
walks over to her room and shuts the door and locks it.
As some time went by reader was quietly listening to see if her dad was asleep. As reader double checks that her dad’s a sleep she grabs the screwdriver out of her cardigan and unscrews the screen cover and leans it against the bed. As reader pokes her head out of the window making sure no one saw here or her dad was there. As reader climbs down from her window she crawls past the living room window still making sure her dad doesn’t hear her or see her. As she gets up from crawling she now in the front yard Reader looks over at the power lines she runs off into the roof up into the hill and follows the power lines.
As reader runs into Sienna yard she Her friends house the lights in and hear laughter. As she walks up the stairs onto the porch the front door was open but the screen door was closed making nice cold air come into the hot house. As reader watch sienna and her friends laugh she knocked on the door making sienna notice her. As sienna runs up to the door opening it and giving reader a hug making the h/c surprise at the sudden hug. “I’m so happy you’re here, come inside!” Sienna said as she graves reader hand making her come in side.
Some time went by Sara and here friends were in the couch while Sienna and reader where under the glass table. “So you can’t stay all night?” Sienna said sounding sad her friend can’t stay all night. “No all night, I should be back by 6:00 to be safe.” Reader replied while looking at sienna.
“Jesus.” Replied sienna annoyed. I’ll just head out when you guys wanna sleep.” Reader said as both of them look up at the table. “So where you move here from?” Sienna says while looking at reader. “Eastern shore.” Replied reader. Sara and her friends going quiet as they look at the duo.
“Is your mom in the picture?” Sienna says not knowing the rumours. “Reader shaking her head no.
“Sara says you only have a dad.” Sienna replied. Sara knocking on the glass table scaring the girls.
“Cinnamon glaze.” Sara says happily as she shows her friends nails of. “We trying to talk.” Sienna says annoyed at the interruption. Both Sara and her friends both stare at each other offended by the reply. “Sienna give me your hand.” Sara said as she graves Sienna hand over the table. Reader looks at Sienna while sienna says, “Never mind about your mom, it’s not non of my business anyway.” Sienna says as she look through the clear table at the other girls while reader still staring at Sienna. Reader inhaling Sienna smell, “I don’t have any memories of her.” Reader replied. “Or photos, my dad won’t tell me anything.” Reader replied while still staring at Sienna.
Meanwhile Sara was down with Sienna nails “Try that. It’s called copper fever.” Said Sara as she lets go of Sienna hand. As sienna looks at her nails, “It’s to orange.” Replied Sienna. Reader looking at sienna hands, Sienna notice the girl looking at her hand she shows her nails to reader. Reader holding Sienna hand looking at them closely she puts a finger in her mouth and bites it blood spraying her and Sienna. Sienna starts screaming and tries to make her stop. Sara and the other girls seeing what she is doing start screaming and crying as Sara gets up and tries and pulls reader aways from sienna “Reader,Reader, Reader Stop!” Sara screamed at she successfully pulls reader off of Sienna. Reader graving Sienna legs trying to still bite her but not being successful. “Someone help.” A girl screamed. Sienna holding her bloody hand screaming at the pain trying to make the blood stop but the blood won’t stop. As reader gets up she looks around everyone still screaming,
She runs toward the back door making sure none of the neighbours see her. As she runs through the backyard the girls screams still in the background, she follows the landline back to her house scared. As reader runs into the backyard of here house she banging on the door. D/n was woken up from the sudden banging, he puts the light on the side table as he gets up from the couch he opens the door seeing his daughter full of blood. “You didn’t.” D/n said as he wipes his face mad that his daughter did it again. “In the car.” He says as he graves some clothes and gives it to reader. “In the car in 3 minutes.” he said anxious. She takes the clothes and runs to her room and quickly changes. “GO!” HE YELLED. D/n starts scrambling to get stuff to put into the bag. Reader walks into her room staring at herself in the mirror seeing the blood around her mouth, “Move Reader.” D/n yelled. Reader starring at the door. “If the cops come here we have to be ready and gone.” He added as he started getting stuff together.
