Sonia was walking around the campus, with Chiaki, talking about little things. They had some dessert after lunch together and it was about time to head home.
“So that’s how i ended up with 20 hamsters!” Sonia said clapping her hands.
“Im still confused.” Chiaki said, holding a hand up to her forehead.
The blonde looked at the large clock in front of the school.
“Oh! i have to get going! i got a letter saying someone wants to meet me by the reserve course building around this time!” The blonde spoke, walking away.
“Stay safe! See you tomorrow!” Chiaki shouted, quickly redirecting her focus to her handheld console.
Sonia hummed a soft tune, making her way to the large building. Behind there, stood a tall mysterious figure.
“Hello?” She called out.
“Greetings.” The figure spoke.
She gasped.
“Tanaka!” She smiled, knowing him by his odd choice of wording and voice.
a chunky tawny hamster climbed out of gundhams scarf and reached towards Sonia.
“Oh, hello to you too Cham-P.” She said happily. but she didn’t forget the letter. “Ah, Tanaka-Kun?”
“Yes?” He said, petting his pet rodent.
“Why did you call me here instead of telling me in class, or on break?” She asked.
“Ah! Erm..” He hid his face in the burgundy scarf. “I wanted to ask if you would enjoy going out with me, for a “date” as mortals call it..” He mumbled, face redder than a strawberry.
“Of course i would! Lets set it up right away!”
He smiled, bringing her to a bench to set times and dates.
“Hmm, i’m free saturday morning!” She said.
“It seems, i am too.”
“Well then that’s settled, how about the place?” she asked.
“How about the new zoo that opened up around our school, it seems.. quite nice.”
“Sure! I love animals.” She smiled softly at him.
“Sounds great. I’ll see you then.”
“But wait!” sonia exclaimed
“Yes?”
“What about the devas?” she said, concerned about the hamsters.
“I have someone who is quite happy to take care of them.” He said.
“that’s good.” she sighed in relief.
“Goodbye for now, Dark-Queen.”
Sonia blushed at the sudden nickname, but waved goodbye, smiling at him.
The days after that, she could barely wait for the weekend.
The day came, as she worriedly looked in her colorful closet, trying to find something suitable. She settled on a casual sage green blouse, with denim shorts and black thigh highs with her normal heels.
She didn’t want to go too fancy, so she kept her hair the way it always was.
Gundham Pov 
His monochrome wardrobe seemed to be the opposite of sonias color filled one.
He picked out his normal shirt without his scarf, just a choker which was the same color. he wore black jeans and white shoes, with a shorter jacket than he usually wears.
He did his hair down, parted in the middle.
As he walked to sonias large house, he dropped the devas at Pekoyamas dorm, as she happily pet them.
Knock knock knock~
“Tanaka?” A voice behind the door said.
“Yes.” He answered, proudly, yet a little nervous
“It’s me, sonia!” She said, opening the door
“You look.. very nice.” He complimented, face a little pink.
“I could say the same for you.” She smiled.
She grabbed ahold of his arm and giggled.
“Shall we get going?”
“Yes.”
the way there they talked about animals, funny mishaps, the way cham-p almost got crushed because he snuck out his cage and knocked over a vase.
“he barely missed it?”
“the world sensed his power, he can’t be hurt!” he let out a laugh after that, followed by sonias.
“We’re here!” She said, pointing at the zoo sign.
“Seems we are.”
She dragged him by the arm to the entrance.
She took a map and a guide to all the animals.
“Look! They have a bear!” She happily pointed at the map, implying she wanted to go there first.
“Well, let’s go see him then.” He smiled.
“Yeah!” She exclaimed.
They walked over there, stopping by all the other enclosures, sonia reading all about them.
“Look! A python! Did you know a serial killer used them as his weapon for so long until the police caught him in the act?” She said, a gleam in her pretty eyes.
“Animals are much more powerful than they seem.” Gundham spoke.
“mhm!” she nodded her head, watching the large snake eating its food.
“Here’s a little penguin! aww, he’s so cute!” She pointed at the little waddling bird
“Cute? Penguins are vicious” he smiled.
“But look at him!”
He was bringing a pebble to his cagemate.
“perhaps he is a bit cute.” he said.
“Right!” she smiled proudly.
“Woah! look! we reached the bear!” she pointed at the napping grizzly. it started walking towards the front, and leaned its head on the glass on sonias hand pressed up on the enclosure.
“It seems he’s taken a liking to you.” The scar faced boy spoke.
“I’m glad!” She smiled and fake pet the bear before heading to the butterfly walk-through enclosure.
they walked into the large building as butterflies flew around them, they smiled at eachother softly.
“wah! this one keeps landing on my shoulder” she said, a little scared.
it seemed like the butterfly understood her distress and flew off to a nearby child.
“let’s go out and have some food before we leave hm?” she asked.
“sounds great. splendid even.” he smiled
“Hello welcome to the zoos cafe, what would this lovely couple like to order?” The waiter asked.
“Ah, you’ve got it wrong-“
“ill take a salad.” gundham said, smiling at sonia.
“i’m not too hungry so i’ll just get the chocolate mousse cake.”
“coming right up.” The boy smiled and walked off.
“so.. are we a thing now?”
“seems like it.”
“i’m glad.” she smiled at the black haired boy.
“so am i.”
“i love you, my dark queen.”
“i love you too, gundham.”
