After the clathrate gun was fired, humans have to deal with rising sea level fast. The most obvious way is just to simply... move inland and let old cities turns into corral reef. The largest displaced cities are:

Some city however, just... stay where they are and deal with the rising sea with mega engineering. The most extreme one is the construction of sea wall. As its name suggest, it is a gigantic wall that surrounds a city to keep the ocean at bay. This structure takes a lot of resource and effort to build but it doesn't require massive rebuilding and/or emigration.
There are only four cities protected by sea walls and all four of them are famous for their automation industry:
Those who opt to stay but had no means to build a wall, built sea pillars instead. Sea pillars are reinforced arcologies whose first fifty meters are below water. While these structures are easier to build than Sea Wall, it still required tremendous amount of resources effort. There are almost of a hundred of sea pillars in total. The largest being:

So there's people who moved inland, people who stayed and then there's the Fleet. The Fleet moved away from their city to the other direction. The inhabitant of as Sunda Pusat (Jakarta) built floating settlements in response of the rising sea.
Being far away from other settlement and completely self-sustaining, the Fleet has a reputation of being rather... sleazy.
