wild to me, a dyslexic that people actually just do crosswords. Ya’ll out here looking at alphabet soup for fun and finding words in that shit

People awkwardly waiting for me to finish reading something is a micro aggression and should be punishable by death
for my fellow dyslexics in the chat we can spell (f_u_c_(k) y0u)
An absolute mood for me daily is asking people 200 times what they said, still not processing a damn thing, and then asking them to write it out only to not be able to read what they’re saying cause it’s not broken down so you keep skipping lines over and over cause your brain won’t let you read anything correctly
Man, having audio processing issues AND dyslexia is always a wild fucking ride trying to talk to literally anyone, especially asking your friends what the hell someone said and you can’t even understand them
Like yes friendly person, I hear you but my brain thinks you’re saying “barking at the more” instead of “knocking at the door” and I get confused on what the fuck you mean
Dyslexic Things
Not knowing which letter to double in a word
Never let anyone tell you that having multiple languages on a single keyboard as a dyslexic is a mistake
I mean, it's definitely a mistake, but don't let people tell you so
Can we move away from the idea that poor spelling is a sign of low intelligence please?
I'm dyslexic and sometimes my spellcheck literally gives up bc neither of us know what I'm trying to say. Despite this I'm about to do a PhD.
Poor spelling =/= intelligence
this user has dyslexia
Me: *sees a sign written in really pretty fancy curly cursive*
Me, a dyslexic: I wish I could read
The risk I took was calculated, but man, am I fucking dyscalculic
“Did they purposely make dyslexia hard to spell?”
