Ok so while Kageyama isn’t the best at being romantic, he really does try. Like he’ll try so hard to plan something for you and will get v annoyed if it doesn’t go the way he hopes it does (mainly because people kinda ruin it—)

Kageyama will absolutely give you his Karasuno jacket. He knows he’s not great at the whole dating thing so he wants to do anything he can to make you happy

Please let him teach you how to play volleyball if you don’t know how to play. He may not be super nice but god he is so proud of you whenever you can receive pretty well

He’ll also act like it’s annoying but he really does like whenever you go to games. He’ll claim that you “distract him” but he plays so much better whenever he sees you standing next to Yachi

You have to initiate almost all the hugs and kisses because he’s actually too nervous to do it himself :(

And he’s scared that you wouldn’t want a hug or a kiss at that time so you’re either going to have to reassure him that it’s ok or do it yourself lmao

Isn’t a fan of PDA but if either of you ever had a bad day and you two pick up on it, he will not hesitate to hug you tightly and will gladly let you do the same

He also use to not be a fan of cuddling. But after the third time convincing him too, he will absolutely ask if it’s ok for you two to cuddle after having a stressful game

You better go to nationals. He will be so damn motivated whenever he sees you there and he’ll even help you pay to go. (And probably even asks Saeko to drive you🥺)

He’s kind of worried you’ll abandon him like his old team did so please be patient with him whenever he gets kind of snappy. He really is trying his hardest and it takes him a long time to fully trust and open up too you

But if you’re patient with him, it’ll be worth it.
